Oh yikes. Not that I noticed anything wrong with the video content, but with all the parts that need to be removed or moved around, I don’t have the confidence in the local Uhaul guy to do this properly.

That was a great tutorial. I watched some other ones from other dedicated hitch shops and they are such hacks compared to you. One installer even showed grinding away a section of the chassis about a foot from the mounting holes and then he tried to fish the bolts and plates in from there. Your way made so much more sense. Great job with the video. It was easy to follow and really made my hitch installation go so much easier. ** The only thing I did in addition to what you showed in the video is I sprayed rust paint on the bare metal access holes that i drilled. Rust is a big problem here so I thought that was a prudent thing to do.

You see to me using the 4th hole makes more sense logically mostly because I want to keep intact the 3 holes supporting the hitch and not weaken the center one but I'm not an engineer to demonstrate that one way is better than the other one.

what about painting the freshly exposed metal where you drilled the larger hole to avoid corrosion??

Great instructional video! One issue I encountered- after following all of these instructions, I have a bad vibration from, I’m guessing, the muffler and heat shield. Any recommendations for fixing it?

Check the installation again. there should not be a vibration. Perhaps the heat shield needs to be trimmed a little more.

Great tutorial, does it apply for models 2022 and 2023? I see with other brands that you have to cut your fender in order for it to come out of the chassis.
