I agree. At best they were in the centre of the road. What did they expect might happen if another was to appear from the opposite direction. Even if both cars were travelling at 25mph for example, that's a closing speed of 50mph.

Clip 3 came off his bike due to going over a manhole cover. In doing so the friction changed instantly, and the rider had zero time to react made worse due to speed. The friction between rubber, road surface and manhole covers are different in all conditions let alone greasy conditions as a result of the first rain after a period of warm weather.

#1 Chris. Piece of advice: when approaching a blind bend to the right, move over to the far left and don't attempt to take it anywhere near the speed limit. You practically cut that corner and were driving too fast for the conditions. A good driver will position to straighten out the bends.

as an artic driver myself, exactly that. There was no way both were going to fit there without wiping each other's mirrors out or one having to go off-piste. As soon as the other truck loomed into view I'd have stopped as close to the kerb as possible, then seen what the other guy was going to do. If he had no intention of stopping then I'd be swiftly bouncing the FNS wheel up the kerb to save my mirror !

technically no, the van veered into her lane at the last second, so he caused the collision with an unsafe lane change. you can see him drive over the dotted white line for the lane marking just as they appear, with his right front wheel, so he was fully in the left lane till that point. but yes, given his road position and speed, I wouldnt have tried to go next to him myself, but she technically did nothing wrong.

He was moving into the correct lane for the direction he wanted to take, she was overtaking him into that lane as it formed.

Coming round the bend we can see up the left and traffic is flowing then but once behind the car on the straight we don't know if vehicles in front stopped or the car in front just stopped to let someone out.

If the guy driving the camera car was over to the left instead of cutting the corner, he could have seen further round the bend. Further, he made no effort to slow down for a bend he couldn't see round. If there had been a bump I'd put 80% of it on the cam car, if not all of it. The oncoming car could not get any further over to the left short of mounting the verge, but he should have slowed down as well.

That junction is way too narrow to be two lanes on the far side of the lights, so you have to merge in the junction itself. I drive this way all the time and most people drive very cautiously through knowing that it gets very narrow very quickly. Neither party covered themselves in glory here Weirdly, it leads to the same roundabout as clip #7

If a licensed taxi causes concern or danger through their lack of driving ability, report the 'plate' number to the Licensing Officer at the local council, with footage if poss. Too many people are becoming taxi drivers who really shouldn't be conveying members of the public about, including transporting school children, (which most taxi firms put in tenders for each year) let alone be on the road. Whilst the taxis have to pass a stringent examination to be licensed, the same cannot be said for the drivers. Btw I was a licensed taxi driver for a number of years.

Was a cloner, Range rovers have a vulnerability that makes them easy to have their key fobs cloned. Someone can just sit in a car nearby and clone the key over radio, then come back later and literally just unlock and start the car and drive off. Not only that they have something called approach unlock on those models so the thief probably had the doors unlocked before he even got to it.

@@F1shF4c3 my guess is cam driver likely had local knowledge and was most likely going for the overtake as knew there was a merge lane to exit. van pick up driver probably not local, possibly a colleague in the other van pick up and trying to stay close as to not get lost and seen an oppertunity to get passed the black car between them. but yeah, use more patience and its avoidable by the cam car.

Cars drive like idiots then give it why did you hit me ? … and expect truck drive to stop in 3 feet ( 36 inches) 1 yard (91.4cm) and then get salty when they don’t .
