Please stop misleading people; no nurse earns £70,000 a year in the UK. Nurses are struggling to find shifts these days. Don't put African nurses in the UK in trouble back home!

I don't think that is true. Agency nurses earn £40 per hour. Also Band 8b nurses earn £72000 per year. Band 9 nurses ( which is the very top Band for nurses ) earn £121000 per year. But Band 7 nurses only earn £52000 per year. Band 7 nurses are those with a Master's who work as theatre nurses or something else in that bracket. Ordinary Band 5 nurses ( BSc needed ) can earn £40 per hour through nurse employment agencies. But only earn £35000 to £42000 working full time for a hospital rather than through an agency.

@nr.preciousakunna6922 Nurses who have never lived in the UK or Europe also need to know that £50,000 per annum salaries do not go far in London. 3-bedroom houses in London in a reasonable area start at £600,000. So a nurse earning £50,000 needs to be married to someone earning at least £50,000+ to get a mortgage. X6 income mortgages are the largest mortgages available in London. If they opt to live elsewhere in the UK, it's alot easier to buy a house. Eg. Can buy a 3-bedroom house in Birmingham in a reasonable area for £250,000 or £300,000.

Francis, I do not understand why the parents, Maria & Tobi, wanted Adekule put his name down as the father's baby. Correct me if I am wrong, if a baby is born on the soil doesn't that make the baby a British? Therefore qualifying the baby for benefits? That is the only part I am not understanding.
