Nice vid Bud. Tell me, what is the thinking behind you using a circle at the top of a pennel and a J hook at the bottom? Why risk the bottom hook deep hooking? Am I missing something?
@TheShoreHunter2 жыл бұрын
When the fish take the bait, the circle gets them in the mouth, this mean the J hook doesn't normally hook the fish as its not under any tension, as the circle hook is in...I hope that explains it

its amazing really that they're there on the Welsh side and yet you don't seem to see them on the the opposite beach (Brean?) on the English side ... I'd like to have seen the fight with an 82lb Tope ...

Me too mate, and yes it's super frustrating hey.

Hi Wayne , love you channel, Would you try fishing on Preston beach in Weymouth? it seems to be a good option when the chesil is too rough as it is at the moment. Would make an interesting KZbin video.😊

@@themuddypuddleangler653 Yes Paul 👍 nice to see you out again , always look forward to your films as the muddy puddle is awkward place to fish and a bit of a mystery to what species of fish are in this area at different times of the year. 🤔always wondered how the flow of the river Severn and the influence of fresh water affects this area and how far up sea fish go as I have heard of flatfish and Bass being caught as far up as Sharpness. Thanks for all your efforts 👍
