The weather was freezing on this shoot & Miku & Akane both set their coats alight by getting too close to the heaters. Kanami later admitted she did too. But then let's face it the Maids are always on 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Early Band-Maid Love It! MISA pre-five string, Kanami's Addictone and short skirt, Akane with her "Little Hat", Miku in her early Zemaitis sponsorship and Saiki with her over-rouged eyes sporting those beautiful chicken legs....... just wonderful! This was a brutal shoot for the girls but they are tuff and can handle anything the video company throws them in, which is usually a pit of terror.

Best version of this song is the performance from... Studio Coast, I think? It was the last song of the show. Saiki sang like she didn't want to leave one drop of gas in the tank and I'm pretty sure the others were trying to cave the ceiling in. There are copies floating around out there, but might be hard to find.

Brilliant MV...but then they all are. Love the breakdown in this, especially that guitar solo after those vocal harmonies. Filmed over a whole day and evening in very windy conditions (which is why there are so many wind turbines in the background).

I'll be there for work in February. Please check my comments on your reaction to Dennis Chambers Hearin Tool for the first time. I just watched it Dec.10th You did it 1 month ago. The Non-Fiction Days use to be their go-to closer. When the song ended, the Maids would give Miku her few seconds to say goodbye, bow, and then all quickly walk off stage. The crowd felt like they'd been run over by a speeding freight train of awesomeness. It all felt so good and the fans wanted more! But they were leaving... until next time! Thx, Joely!

I just realized... I knew about the BlackStar amp but I never noticed that Miku-chan was already using the Zemaitis. But Kanami-san was still on the Addictone and MISA-san was still on the 4-string bass (Fender Jazz?).

It’s certainly up there. I have a strong affinity for Freezer and Yuragu as well. They got better once they wrote their own stuff, but it’s great how strong some of the old stuff holds up as well.
@Parker-- Жыл бұрын
@@GaryHolloway-810If Smile was sung by a western singer in English, it would have won several Grammy’s even though it wouldn’t have been nearly as good as Saiki.

@@Parker-- You're right, Parker. But i also love how Saiki doesn't feel the need to use a million octaves in every note like a lot of western singers. Mariah Carey springs to mind.😫

Band Maid has had so many amazing backgrounds for their videos. From a windswept beach for "The Non Fiction Days" to the incredible stone quarry as background for "Influencer", the official music video. There is a lot of fire used in several of their videos. Check "Warning", the official music video, and during "Shambles".
