UK government hires independent experts to call out ‘greenwashing’ firms

There is no difference between eat in and take out at burger joints. Why should they be wrapped up when they're about to be consumed? Why paper cups? Fries in card board cups which could easily be put on the plate with the burger. There should be a tax on their usage.

They would be green if they had electric powered jets that got electricity from nuclear power (which is by far the best option at generating a lot of electricity and having much lower CO2 emissions compares to coal, wind and even solar if you take the materials into account.

The funny thing about this report is the "problem" is being interviewed about the consequences of the "problem" consuming. It is partly up to companies yes, bit the majority of the problem is the consumer.....do you really need to buy that product, really? Really, really? Yes? Because you don't know different? I’m not sure but I know that a lot of chemicals go into the recycling process. As long as it’s not a plastic ‘wax’ I see no reason to think it couldn’t readily decompose.
