Nice going! As a pike angler walking the dog is changing the direction of your rod tip as you retrieve bud . It works the lure in a zig zag rather than straight at ya. All the best.

Another enjoyable video. May I suggest that it’s well worth building a brief pause into your retrieve which can trigger a take. Not sure why it works but in my experience it does. I imagine that the predatory instinct of the fish senses that the pause indicates that its prey is weakening.

18g surface lure,and I think 10g red head lure

It's an.exagerated action bud. Point rod left 4 turns,centre 4 turns, right4 turns etc . Had lots of pike doing this so should work for the old bass! Keep going mate been a subscriber for ages it's just when you mentioned ' walking the dog' I used to do it loads so could actually comment! Good going mate.
