UK Parliament Conference: Maryam Rajavi Demands Accountability for Iran's Atrocities-10 Sep. 2024

On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, on the eve of the anniversary of the September 2022 nationwide uprising in Iran, a conference titled “Human Rights in Iran and Securing Accountability: A Call for Justice” was held in the UK Parliament. The event featured members of both Houses of Parliament from various political parties, as well as representatives of the Iranian diaspora in the country. Maryam Rajavi delivered a speech and participated via video conference.
In their speeches, members of the UK Parliament referred to the escalating human rights violations and the wave of executions under the clerical dictatorship. They expressed their support for the call by Professor Javaid Rehman, the former UN Special Rapporteur, in his landmark report for the establishment of a mechanism to hold the regime accountable for four decades of atrocity crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide.
The speakers also underscored their support for Mrs. Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan for Iran’s future and called for the designation of Khamenei’s IRGC as a terrorist organization.
The conference continued with Maryam Rajavi‘s remarks addressing the members of both Houses of the UK Parliament.
روز سه‌شنبه ۲۰ شهریور، در آستانه سالگرد قیام شهریور ۱۴۰۱ ، كنفرانسی در پارلمان انگلستان زیر عنوان «حقوق‌بشر در ایران، تضمین حسابرسی و فراخوان به عدالت» با حضور نمایندگان مجلسین انگلستان از احزاب مختلف و نمایندگان جوامع ایرانی مقیم این كشور برگزار شد. مریم رجوی از طریق ویدئو كنفرانس در این جلسه سخنرانی و شركت كرد.
نمایندگان مجلسین انگلستان در سخنرانی‌های خود با اشاره به نقض فزاینده حقوق‌بشر و موج اعدام‌ها توسط دیكتاتوری آخوندی، حمایت خود را از فراخوان پروفسور جاوید رحمان، گزارشگر ویژه پیشین ملل متحد در گزارش تاریخی او برای ایجاد یك مكانیزم برای حسابرسی از رژیم آخوندی به‌خاطر چهاردهه جنایات سبعانه، جنایت علیه بشریت و نسل‌كشی ابراز كردند.
سخنرانان با تأكید بر حمایت از برنامه ۱۰‌ده‌ ماده‌یی خانم رجوی برای آینده ایران، به لیست‌گذاری تروریستی سپاه خامنه‌‌ای فراخوان دادند.
عُقد يوم الثلاثاء 10 سبتمبر، عشية الذكرى السنوية لانتفاضة سبتمبر 2022، مؤتمر في البرلمان البريطاني تحت عنوان “حقوق الإنسان في إيران، ضمان المحاسبة والدعوة إلى العدالة”، بحضور أعضاء من المجلسين البريطانيين من مختلف الأحزاب ، إضافة إلى ممثلين عن الجاليات الإيرانية المقيمة في بريطانيا. شاركت مريم رجوي في المؤتمر وألقت كلمة عبر الفيديو كونفرنس.
في كلماتهم، أشار نواب البرلمان البريطاني إلى تزايد انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان وموجة الإعدامات تنفذها دكتاتورية الملالي، وأعربوا عن دعمهم لدعوة البروفيسور جاويد رحمان، المقرر الخاص السابق للأمم المتحدة، في تقريره التاريخي لإنشاء آلية لمحاسبة النظام الإيراني على أربعة عقود من الجرائم الوحشية، والجرائم ضد الإنسانية، والإبادة الجماعية.
وأكد المتحدثون دعمهم لخطة السيدة مريم رجوي المكونة من 10 نقاط لمستقبل إيران، ودعوا إلى إدراج قوات حرس النظام الإيراني ضمن قائمة المنظمات الإرهابية.
Le mardi 10 septembre, à la veille de l’anniversaire du soulèvement de 2022 en Iran, une conférence s’est tenue au parlement britannique sous le titre de « les droits humains en Iran, la garantie de demander des comptes et appel à la justice ». Des parlementaires de divers partis y assistaient, ainsi que des représentants des communautés iraniennes résidant en Grande-Bretagne. Maryam Radjavi y a délivré un discours par vidéo.
Dans leurs interventions, les parlementaires des deux chambres ont évoqué la montée des violations des droits humains et la vague d’exécutions perpétrées par la dictature religieuse. Ils ont apporté leur soutien au Pr. Javaid Rehman, ancien rapporteur spécial de l’ONU, qui dans son rapport historique appelle à créer un mécanisme pour demander des comptes au régime des mollahs en raison de leurs crimes d’atrocité, crimes contre l’humanité et génocide durant quatre décennies.
Les orateurs ont mis en avant leur soutien au plan en 10 points de Mme Radjavi pour l’Iran de demain et pour l’inscription du corps des pasdarans sur la liste des entités terroristes.
