Hi Alan congratulations on the rapid growth of your channell, its great to see your hard work paying off, sorry to bother you again but I was wondering what you thought regarding whether we could be asked a question on anything other than ministerial responsibility for 2.3 because I do not understand what kind of question they could ask on 2.3.1 which you covered in this video. Do you have any ideas on what we could be asked about the structure, role and powers of the executive? Thank you so much your really helping me

I was speaking to my teacher, and he said that CMR is most likely to be a source question as it’s quite hard to right a full essay on it. With the executive, isn’t it likely that we have to know the role and the structure in order to compare with paper 3? Because they’ve cut out most of the sections from the Executive which essays could be written on. Just my guess though

@@arisamalao3963 yeah it seems unlikely they can ask us a question on anything other than cmr and imr for that section because they have cut out the cabinet and prime minister part.

3.1 covers structure, roles and powers of the executive could link with 3.2 on IMR and CMR or could link to 2.4 'The ways in which Parliament interacts with the Executive' which could feed into a Q on the power of the executive over parliament. It is hard to tell exactly what they will do

because they have taken 3.2 off the advanced information, does that mean that we do not discuss the cabinet at all in our answers?

3.1 is in the advanced information and includes cabinet, 3.2 has not been taken off: The concept of ministerial responsibility. Video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ime4nWWJrK2SisU • The concept of individual ministerial responsibility. • The concept of collective ministerial responsibility. , 3.3 has been left off

@AlanHistoryNerd
@AlanHistoryNerd 2 жыл бұрын
No, select committees are made up of members from across Parliament, cabinet committees are made up of members of cabinet

Could be linked to 3.2 on IMR and CMR or to 2.4 on 'The ways in which Parliament interacts with the Executive'. So could lead to questions on the idea of an 'elected dictatorship' or conversely the weakening power of the executive over parliament. The fact that 3.1 covers structure, roles and in particular power means there are lots of possibilities
