You live in UK and are digging Charley. I can't even get folks in middle Tennessee to listen to him. All they do is complain about country music on the radio but ignore the great new music I try to introduce them to, they don't want to hear it. Charley is an amazing artist.

❤️ Charlie Crockett . He’s a genuine country singer. It’s not formula,I believe he busked for a bit all over. Just 😊

This is my first time hearing of Charlie Cricket, this song was straight from the 50's or 60's, and I like how his clothing style matches his vocal style it's a good look. That was a fun song, I would like you to do Ryan Bingham Hard Times they are completely different songs, but think you would enjoy it. Binghams style hasn't changed for the worse now that he has "made it."

Some of the “BEST” songs from him are covers from older artists from the 40’s-80’s glad he’s bringing back the southern culture🤠 Outlaws we go by😁

My buddies showed me this guy last week, and at first Jamestown Ferry was the only one I found myself listening to over and over, but man, did this one ever grow on me (The Valley is really good too), such a good tune, and a catchy hook

I couldn't get the link listed in the description for the plan b song to work, but looked it up. I can definitely see why you thought of that one while listening to this song. I appreciate you sharing music with us too! I liked the song and will be adding it to my current playlist.

He's one of those that just didn't get the appreciation he deserved at the time. But I feel he would have fit so well into the American Country scene.

I don't know what the reference to the phone is. The clock set for noon, which reminds me of the movies when the gunfight were at high noon. The whole video has a feel of the spaghetti western.

The scenery looks like around Bishop, California. Great video - I liked his voice and the song. The lyrics are a bit negative but unfortunately often true.
@Kiwibird173 жыл бұрын
The scenery isn't South Texas. It's flat and chaparelle here with nothing but cactus and oil fields. Great feel that captures our area- we still love old stuff here in dance halls and honky tonks🇺🇲

Country music is the type of music you can shoot someone and make a song out of it. This man makes them hard times a little bit easier with his music

Anyone know what the phone means?
@078dragonlady2 жыл бұрын
Okay so you ask what the phone represents in my opinion obviously living life on the road your personal and business life is all on the phone either you calling or waiting. It's an old style phone not cell because it represents his old school style. The fact that it's yellow represents the lines on the highway he sees day in and day out playing on the road. The clock at noon represents old style westerns where gunslingers have their death duel. IMO

Graveyard humor, aware you're gunna' get screwed, but going for it cuz it's better than doing nothing. George Jones had a hit with Grand Tour. Same sorry ass humor, bathing in self pity. If you're conscious, you gotta' love this stuff.
