Just to add on, being a doctor myself. You don’t pay for any emergency services even if on visitor visa but the day you shifted to ward yes you have to pay so better to take travel medical insurance as described in the video. Well done guys a good video

Nice video but just to clarify the prescription charge is per item not prescription. If you have more than one item on one presciption you will pay the charge for each item.

Well.. that’s UK’s immigration rule to pay IHS with visa application… doing a job and paying National insurance is not for everyone like for dependents.. if they choose not to do any job and kids don’t do job so they don’t pay NI but get healthcare.. so may be thats why they have this rule..

every time you make a visa application.. you pay IHS.. firstly student pay for his study duration.. then he pays for PSW duration

You will need to pay for prescription ( for medicine) not for the doctor’s appointment and not any medical charges in the public hospitals in the UK

Main application will pay their IHS fees and Dependant will have to pay their IHS fees as well as part of their visa application. If visa is for 2 years you will have to pay 2 years IHS fees for Main applicant and dependant as well (both separately)
