I would say the XGT14 is way above the fireblade gt its more in the range of a t900. Both the t900 and XGT14 have fantastic qualities

Is there any rod that you can relate the xgt14 to , somthing it’s got similar or relative stiffness and power to ?

Personally i would say its similar to a T900. The XGT14s tip is not as soft as the t900 and the butt section is more powerful too. Its lighter and faster recovery than a t900. Both fantastic rods i did have a pair of t900s but now sold them and use the XGT14 👍👍
