See the Lights is one of the most underrated songs of the 90's in my opinion. Just an absolutely PHENOMENAL track.

Did you check it on any other national charts?

Thank you Francis. I was six years old when these songs were out. Also my cousin was born in May 1991. I think 1991 is the weakest year of the 90s personally, but there's gems hidden in a bad year. Did Damon Albarns Mum cut his hair 😂 Cathy Dennis was like God at that point in the UK. Shame she never got a Number one here. Samantha Janus aka Ronnie Mitchell from EastEnders was our Eurovision entry. She's better at acting than singing. Underrated song from TPau here. I'm shocked 'Walking In Memphis' wasn't a hit here. Cher's version was successful. May is the stronger month here. My favourite song is the beautiful touching piano ballad 'Promise Me' by the talented Beverley Craven. Should have been a Number one hit and she should have had a big career. Her first album is amazing. I also like the songs from Cher, Cathy Dennis, TPau, Queen, AC/DC, Scorpions (shame that song has lost its meaning with all the conflict in the world), The Doors (both entries), Mariah Carey, Marc Cohn, Roxette, Kenny Thomas, Shabba Ranks, Michael Bolton, Queensryche, Kylie Mingoue, Wilson Phillips, Amy Grant (lovely pop song, probably my #2), The Manics, Divinyls, Soft Cell, Bob Marley and Carly Simon.

I remember getting the import here in the US of the Wedding Present's Seamonsters and immediately falling in love with "Dalliance" like it was yesterday....

So many duffers. Pity the record companies back in 1991 pumping so much money into some of these acts - just for them to reach the Top 70. Don’t even remember 60% of them😂😂
