Great video! Just wanted to clarify, all documents can be uploaded online now? Would I need to physically bring documents (bank statements, letters, contracts) to a visa centre as part of my application or can everything be uploaded to the official visa gov application website now? Also, during the biometric appointment, I was advised that after submitting all documents online and paying for the visa and healthcare surcharge, that all I'd have to do is go to the appointment and bring my passport to be handed in. This video was really helpful. The income requirement, though, looks like an unassailable mountain. The language criteria looks tough too - due to poverty and civil war my wife received no formal education. She can speak some English but is self-taught. I've not spoken with an immigration lawyer as I think any application would fall at the first hurdle. I simply don't have the income. Depressing doesn't begin to describe this state of affairs. Hello Tommy, You should not apply for an extension before 28 days of your visa expiry as it may impact your residency period for an ILR application in the future.
