Hi welcome to today's vlog on the UK To Karachi Pakistan Travel Day 2024. I will be walking you through the journey from the UK to Karachi in Pakistan with all of the costs including airfare, visa etc. Even though i have done a lot of research on this new adventure in the countries to the south of Asia i am extremely nervous about Pakistan.
Hopefully this trip will show a different side to Pakistan from what we have all heard in the media. I want to start showing some places you haven't thought of visiting because of bad press and see if it is worth the trip right now. As always i will be extremely honest, i don't like experiencing places and not giving you an honest review of how it is right now. Do us proud Pakistan 🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰

Walks to train station. 2 hour layover in Istanbul. Arrives in Karachi @ 4am, followed by cup of tea and immediately embarks on an 11 mile walk (with baggage) to accommodation, like it’s nothing. Legend.

Hi Rich. Regarding going through security twice, I experienced the same scenario when I was departing Egypt in 2017. I was told by an Egyptian security guard it's what the British Government requires and they were paying for it. First security was normal but the second security they were swiping passengers for traces of explosives.

The one time I passed through Istanbul airport the national airline bounced three times on landing and even though I had a two hour connection they charged me 50 USD to sit in their airport while the Ukrainians I flew with from Odessa they charged 2 USD I was pissed and pointed out the difference and said I know what you are doing to me and you know what you are doing to me.

Richy, what a bad arrival time you have - 3.25 am and you can’t check in for 9 hrs or so. You will be shattered, You should have planned better - I always try to arrive in Bangkok around midday or early afternoon and then your 1st night isn’t written off because of tiredness, sounds like an absolute nightmare at the airport- utter chaos the same as Mumbai when I had the misfortune to travel to Thailand with Air India (a dreadful airline) I hope you you don’t have further problems mate 🙏

Myself would be worried Travel Insurance invalidated seems there is travel advisory not to visit, have lived and worked there had the comfort of security personnel around me and lived gated compounds, did travel freely on my own at times this pre todays terror threats 🤔🤔

Everything was said numerous times Steven in the vlog. £30 for the train that I booked early otherwise on the day £57, £210 for the flight and £47 for my Visa. Why do I make hard work? I enjoy walking mate and I couldn’t check into my hotel for 8 hrs.
