UK to PortAventura (Barcelona) | Travel Vlog 2023

Reus Airport - it’s the closest airport to PortAventura but there was no flights for us to take from the North on the 15th.

Yep! At least from EMA they only go out Monday and Fridays. On that note been up to Manchester and done the concord tour and some spotting today. Thanks for the heads up about it all in a previous vlog!

We have just done it as a jet2 holiday job for the next time. Very likely not the most cost efficient way but makes it nice and easy. Prob make a really boring vlog though! Have fun guys! Look forward to the updates.

The toll booths are a bit weird in Spain as they don't seem to accept foreign cards and no cash. I was holding up a huge queue but the Spanish family behind me were very helpful and got the attendant who took some cash let me through lol.

@@visionist7 I took a Wise card to South Korea earlier this year and used in everywhere that accepted card and it didn’t charge any fees. Maybe those will be accepted in Spain as you can hold a balance in foreign currency!

The story about your shorts at security, you couldn't even make that up if you tried 😂 Glad it was all sorted but I've had that issue while trying to get my wallet out in a shop! We normally do it via train from Barcelona (normally fly BA from Heathrow) and get off at the dedicated PA train stop at the resort. Bit of a faff, but not a bad journey to be fair.

Every flight to europe this year has had some kind of delay. Some you think are going well as you board on time, but then sit on tarmac for 40 mins.

Can’t believe they didn’t get you a free transfer to portaventura theme park as I’ve watched lift hills and thrills vlog and im sure thay had someone waiting at the airport with a sign also thay got a VIP wristband to skip all the queues hope you also got one they also stayed where you stayed at gold river hotel
