🇬🇧 UK Visitor Visa:
The UK Visitor Visa, also known as the Standard Visitor Visa, allows individuals to enter the United Kingdom temporarily for a variety of purposes, including tourism, visiting family and friends, participating in business activities such as conferences or meetings, or receiving private medical treatment.
⏰ 6-month residence rule:
A standard Visitor visa is typically granted for a short duration, usually up to 6 months, but it can be issued for longer periods, such as two, five, or ten years, in certain circumstances. The UK Home Office does not want you to stay lengthy periods of time in the UK as it may look like you are making the UK your main home and visiting your home country once in a while.
