Very traditional way of steaming the modhak. I like the way of making the dough, making into a small thin circle. The method of making dimples and folding systematically is worth practising even when you are preparing simple rotis just for the sake of practice. Tried this recipe its best 👍👍👍 ...I was not able to make petals so I was using mould before..but I think bcoz of adding milk the dough was perfect and today I made petalwala modak easily.

Just one suggestion .. try nutmeg pwd instead of cardamom pwd.. nutmeg goes better with jaggery.. rest of the recipe is just perfect and modaks came out v well
