The Rover 200 BRM did well at auction to fetch over £1,100. Well done. I subscribed to your channel after watching your Allegro video. That was my first car back in the mid 1980s. It was an orange coloured 1.5 HLE. It was a 1981 W reg bought off a neighbour for £750. He'd just fitted a new clutch, too. The only trouble I had with it in the 3 years I owned it was the pipe split on the Hydra -gas suspension fluid and it all pissed out, leaving the car tilting at a strange angle. My brother done a temporary weld job on the pipe - extremely carefully - seeing as the fuel line run very close to it! So after driving to the garage (slowly) they topped the gas up for around a fiver. I then ordered a whole new pipe which cost £28 - this was 1989. I loved that car but eventually sold it in the early 90s for £500 and bought a Metro (what was I thinking?) I'm enjoying going through your videos. I miss my days tinkering with cars. Just topping up my washer fluid every so often is all I seem to do nowadays. No more changing wheel bearings, fitting exhausts, or doing my own servicing. I leave all that caper to my local garage who is excellent and knows my Ford Fiesta diesel like the back of his hand and is completely 'mates rates' with any jobs.

Honestly, this could be a new game show! You could call it "Guess That Motor" and just uncover a wheel or partial headlight at first with maximum points given for id'ing it from that and points reducing each time you have to strim lumps of brambles off before someone guesses correctly. Winner gets to choose which "project" they would like to take home and the others all get a hubcap or door handle for participating. Could be the next big thing, guys....!! 😂 It scares me a bit to admit how many of the ones in hedges that I picked up from an exposed indicator, tail lamp, bumper edge or piece of trim. One of the Triumphs was a '74 or later Toledo as it looked to have the reversing lamp incorporated into the tail light and that wee Triumph 1300 - the Toledo's father - is a rarity in itself, being that few were sold (they were not produced for very long) and they were a front wheel drive with the engine mounted longitudinally. The Escort could well be a Sport in that the dash is definitely set up for the 6-dial binnacle. Hard to say if it is the genuine shell without seeing the front wings or the tags or the strengthening bars though. My favourite so far would have to be the little Scirocco though. Man, that looks marvellous! Great walk-around, people. Thoroughly enjoyable and the excitement is infectious! Looking forward to the next installment. All the best
