Awesome video! I've been looking forward to seeing this release. 👍😁 I clearly remember just how early the crossing was being lowered - I still don't understand why these barriers were lowered when the trains were still at Harwich International station and still had to stop at Dovercourt station before passing over this level crossing. It was excessive if you ask me.

Thanks Caleb, finally got round to this crossing 😁 It did seem very excessive and I remember neither of us where expecting it to activate so early. I wonder if the protecting signal is quite a distance from the crossing or the signaller chose to lower the crossing earlier than usual for the trains coming into Harwich 🤔
