Hunted and been in the woods throughout my life. At 70+ I would identify the body and head size; its movement, as that of a bear. No alien in that shot.

All this is lacking is a laughter track. A lot of unnecessary drama about a poor, lonely, scared porcupine, with 'bangs', 'growls' and other sound effects. Probably best to look for aliens in daylight with a drone - just in case they can survive in an arid desert for that long. You all really didn't find anything. But this story has been out for quite a while now. Including Richard Doty who was one the members of the OSI team that investigated this. A creature escaped and killed a Man who was camping with his family. His wife and kids got away in their Ford Station wagon. The creature visitor) then dragged the man inside the the base for about 6 miles. According to reports base security confronted the creature and had a means to recapture it. However, the commander of the unit made the decision to shoot and kill it since it had killed someone. The family ended up getting the body and a fairly large compensation from the government.

I was all gung ho to pack-up & move to Roswell a decade or so ago when I received a letter inviting me to attend the military academy there. But after getting no replies to my emails I called & was told they don't send invitations... the calls from real estate agents kept coming, as I was serious enough about it to do property inquiries. This was fun...however, if it were an alien animal that escaped in 1980's, do you honestly believe it would still be alive? And if being an alien animal, how would it survive in a strange hostile environment? Possibly the people caring for it knew what it needed to live on and provided that nutrition. Like leaving bowls of food and water outside. But I seriously believe there is no alien animal out there in the desert. Interesting no one in that small party of people could name all of the animals that live in that region, especially rodents. And no one could determine exactly how old the tracks were.
