According to Russia propaganda TV, there was a page on some russian social webpage where people could write up the dead(dead in Ukraine) of those they knew. The host was shocked that the number was 284 000 dead Russians and as she said, this doesn't include missing soldiers! So we are easily above 350k dead Russians. Remember this was Russias propaganda state TV.

@mementomori6269

The whole world has understood the impotence and incompetence of NATO against a serious rival. The West has already spent $160 billion on Ukraine, which is 3 of Russia's annual defense budgets. Russian military factories work in 3 shifts, 1% of the mobilization reserve was called up, plus 1% signed contracts voluntarily, and in Ukraine the last men are forcibly taken to the front on the streets. That's why it's funny about losses. Adequate analysts estimate the losses of Ukrainians during the counteroffensive 65-70k, 10:1. At the same time, the Americans are competently destroying the EU economy. Europe is already flooded with migrants from all over the world.

However, some should be there, those not drafted and larger families might need fathers despite all. Ukrainian women are divorcingon a higher rate now than probably ever. Second, there is a hope 300K haven't died yet, casualties is both dead and wounded, as you know. Unfortunately if not yet, there will be, wecan't know highly classified stats. Anyway, thanks to Turkey andBayraktar factory. Ukrainians can't stop it unly give up andbewiped off the Earth. Only Russians can do tgat, by dropping regime or capitulating. Ukraine is facing a significant crisis, and our solidarity with them in their struggle for democracy matters. This can never happen. We don't all share the same ideals and experiences. The reason we separate ourselves into communities called "nations" is because within these nations we find ourselves surrounded by people who share more or less the same basic beliefs as us. And with these people we share relatable life experiences which further refine our ideals. This means that for example, Americans and Russians will never see eye to eye, at least enough to think and act as one people. The American experience and the Russian experience are just too different. Or perhaps they are not similar enough. If you expand this line of logic to all nations around the world the problem becomes enormous. We can never have a unified world. There is just too much variation in human ideals and life experiences for such a thing to work. Too many potential points of conflict.

Or about $55B USD each year on average. Sometimes territory changes sides often over the course of a few days or weeks so it's hard to confirm what's accurate. Some channels will announce the taking of a town but that town will be retaken by the other side after a few days so it's better to wait for visual confirmation.

If the engine room was damaged, then it's hard to imagine it will be ever repaired without whole ship overhaul. This ship and those 2 ships hit berdyansk last year were oryginally constructed in Poland during commie times. There is little chance they will get any replacement parts.

They pump it out and patch it, best case, it looks like Kuznetsov lower decks. NASTY. I can already smell the sea water damage and fire hazards. The upper strata/bourgeoisie have a vested interest in cuckolding the navy, because Russian revolts of substance start there.

Gains are significant already, considering the situation, all factors. There will be no breaktroughs this year as Kherson or Harkhiv last year. When playing field gets more balance, full capabilities, it might pick up slowly, never looking back AFU will be at the shores of Azov sea, they must sooner or later. Then, cutting off Crimea, we should see a breaghtrough allright. I hope to swim there one day..

So lots of what ifs, one thing you can pretty much be certain of - if the west had not sent the aid it has then the situation on the battlefield would be much worse than it would been than it is now. I strongly support continuing Ukrainian aid by the west and it is good value for the US on a purely financial point of view set against the costs the US would need to incurr against a resurgent successful Russia whilst also dealing with China - Let alone the fact that it's the right thing to do.

Regarding the Russian VDV/airborne losses, the number of remaining/unreturned wounded is most likely much higher than 1500 (Which would bring the VDV losses up to the 10K mentioned in the video.) 8500 wounded have returned to VDV service, but there will be many more who are A) still convalescing B) wounded so severely that they have been medically discharged. C) Were wounded and convalescing, but their enlistments ran out while during their recovery and are now wounded/recovered Russian civilians D) wounded and have been reassigned to other roles within the Russian military after their convalescence. I suspect the number of additional wounded is in the same neighborhood as the 8500 who are said to have returned to service. Of course, that is kind of an educated guess, based on historical convalescing from past wars. If true, this would probably increase the number of VDV killed in action, though I think the ratio of 1 dead to 3 wounded used in the video is probably too high.
@scorpioneldar

Russia has implemented their own version of stop loss. there are no Russians who's enlistment runs out until the end of the special military operation. so point C doesn't exist. otherwise it is a good comment.

Canceling elections, persecuting Christians, locking up American Journalists, censoring outside news outlets, military hiding amongst civilians, blowing up the pipelines and dams, kidnapping conscripts off the street, and actual Nazis (Azov Battalion) within your ranks. Why do you think that they arent already a NATO or even an EU member...what's the hold up?? US politicians sending a generation of young Ukrainian men into a meat grinder to weaken Putin, and then allow Blackrock free range to exploit it's resources and rebuild the destroyed infrastructure. Thank you so much for documenting this awful war. It is a major source of updates for me and I am sure many others. I can't imagine how much work goes into this, but it is very appreciated. I think it will be shown in classrooms one day as both an example of excellent documentation and how the fog of war created a different set of concerns as to what was 'obvious' in retrospect. I just wish this was not necessary. Putin will have much to answer for by the end of this.
