"America bombs while China builds." Ouch 😅 Hard to argue with that...
@anthonyperron6741

They build for the sake of building, absent any demand. They then go and demolish the unfinished buildings (look up ghost cities). ANYONE who says that is good for the macro economy doesn't understand economics and why human beings economize. There is a limited amount of resources; they must be directed to where they are needed most. While they are constructing appartment buildings that noone will ever live in, they have nearly 6 times the deaths from starvation per capita as the U.S. What a wonderfully advanced economy!!!

The US does still have immense power If the US just wanted to enough, and cut out some business with China, China would definitely feel the pain. If the US quit China altogether, it would hit Chinas economy. And last but not least, the US has the power to literally reach in and shut China down and the only reason they haven’t is because the US loves money so much and wouldn’t want to enforce austerity here on our citizens nor on our corporate enterprises here And finally - it is written in the Bible, in the book of Daniel, that in the last days, the last empire will fall never to get up again BUT It will not be by a humans doing- it will be their fall when the Christian persecution- or “the great tribulation” is underway and world leaders decide to go after Gods true people. Then all will see the sign of Jesus returning in the clouds. Then it will be by Jesus judgement and his hand that the United States finally gos down The Bible also mentions that when military leaders and kings (or presidents) see Jesus returning they will try to hide So don’t get excited, the US will never fall because of China nor any other alliances. It is written prophecy and it will take place exactly as the Bible mentions.

It was probably the American civil war when the US was actually in a real war of attrition and suffered HUGE losses, even though the US likes to believe, and project in it's media, movies, TV that it was the hero that saved the day in both WW1 and WW2 but in reality the US was a bit player in both of those wars, other than the use of nukes in Japan. Just add up the LOSSES of the US military compared to the losses suffered by the other nations in those 'world wars'. The US turned tail and couldn't really win in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. I guess the US could claim victory in Grenada. The US and NATO are being destoyed in Ukraine, and exposed for the weak frauds they really are because all they are capable to doing to bullying weaker, less equiped, bedouins in the Levant region and Afghanistan, and even then the US doesn't 'win', it just spends, spends, spends by monetizing more and more debt through it's fifth plank central bank: the Federal Reserve. If, and when, the "US dollar" (US debt/IOUs) is no longer used as the reserve currency by nations all over the earth in international commercial transactions, the US will burn and that economic implosion is just a matter of time regardless of who is elected to the office of US CEO, emperator and apotheos.

This decline is from within. It's a moral and spiritual decline. When you have a false understanding of the meaning and destiny of the person and the family the spirit of endeavour and striving dies. When people no longer have children their misguided governments try to substitute migrants, this causes social rupture and cultural tensions leading to chaos....the societies fall apart before our eyes with all kinds of irrational ideologies. Sovereignty is lost from within. Russia and Hungary and others understand this. Ukraine lost when they bought into the western ideologies.

In history, the Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman, Hungary, Portugal, Spain, Dutch, French, Britain, Mughal Empires came - formed, peaked, declined & disintegrated - gone. However China 5,000 years ago is still China today, got back Hongkong, Macau & in due course Taiwan. Because China is large civilizational nation state with lots of endurance, resilience & existential experiences, dynamic and continously self evolving, correcting and improving thru' time and moving forward. The average shelf life of those past Empires is 250 years, for which US is nearing to it, and hence has been declining since the last few years. 😊

Several issues amazed me in this interview, but learning that the Israelis are trying to get India to provide a workforce since they no longer wish to have Palestinians provide that work. Israel lashing out at their neighboring countries to provoke a wider war? India needs to protect those guest workers who could conceivably be embroiled in Israeli aggression. High tariffs on Chinese produced electric cars, batteries, chips etc, tells me that the current administration does not care either for transitioning to EVs for the environment. Higher costs for electronics means that they do not care about what the ordinary person pays for what they need. By the way, I am starting to see quiet layoffs of workers. Longtime workers are encouraged to retire. Jobs are being "eliminated". Considering that many people rely on more than one job to pay their bills, this is problematic.

What Prof. Wolff said about Prof. Mearsheimer is correct (Prof. Mearsheimer has no interest in economics), but Prof. Wolff also has his blind sides 😀 That's why you need the two of them plus Scott Ritter and Kevin from Inside China Business to have a fairly comprehensive view.

That’s the prerogative of the US to impose new trade tariffs on EV’s and other China green energy imports. The 100% tariff by the US on EV will hurt the lower income Americans most, as it deprave the lower income Americans from owning an inexpensive and good EV for their daily transportation. The 100% tariff is a tax levied on cheap China EV that the lower income Americans have to pay in order to owns an EV from China made models. Other countries will be able to enjoy an inexpensive and affordable car within their means Instead of focusing on ideological differences, the US should provides a solid foundation for pragmatic cooperation aiming at strengthening connectivity across the world. Instead US should leverage the thriving Chinese economy as a substantial market and foster stronger connections. Decoupling from China or de-risking with China is neither practical nor necessary and poisoning the relationship by decoupling or de-risking resulted in the lost of opportunity. But instead, the US discourage China and other countries from challenging the US leadership or seeking to overturn the established political and economic order. The US must maintain the mechanisms for deterring potential competitors in other countries from even aspiring to a larger regional or global role. The major US objective is to safeguard US interests and promote US foreign policy. The US will not tolerate any objection that threatens US hegemony regarding US interests and US foreign policy. If necessary, the US must be prepared to take unilateral action. The US like to portrays other countries as an antagonists and as well as an adversary when the US face with competition in technology and high-tech industries that the US regard it as their domains and sphere of influence and will not accept any competition from another country. The US accuse China of excess capacity in green energy. The US like to use ambiguous words like decoupling, de-risking, and tariffs in implementing trade barriers and economic sanctions against China. The US wanted to destroys China and its economy in order to prevent China from competing with the US. The US multiple sanctions is a deliberate attempt by the US to obliterate China in its economic and trade war against China. The US sanctions has long been a diplomatic and economic tool used by US seeking to influence others. The dense bureaucratic jargon and minute technical detail is a declaration of economic war on China. The US is full of mischief by creating trouble and exerting its power and hegemony as well as economic dominance all over the world.

China's advocacy of European independence and autonomy is the most feared proposition by the United States, which is different from Russia's previous belief in relying on the United States to balance Europe. From strategy, it can be seen why China has the upper hand in the confrontation with the United States.
