Himars are not magical. The are longer range and extraordinarily accurate. but they are very expensive, so there is a limited supply of them. Are we right to understand from your repeated use of the word “humanity” in regard to the Telegraph siding indiscriminately with Ukraine, that the other side - Russia - is not included in that category? This would affirm the adoption by the U.K. media in general of an attitude and philosophy toward Russia elaborated on the last century by a certain German wartime leader.

As an Australian, I could never understand why UK was so eager to surrender control to Merkel and others. They virtually gave up their sovereignty - well, control of their borders, their $, their trade, and all the benefits that went with that. Okay, they went into it with rose coloured glasses that European unity was going to benefit them. But it didn't. They weren't foresighted enough to have had a pre-nup. And even though UK was the highest financial contributor, they accepted at 35 Billion dollar debt to leave the relationship. That's 900 million dollars a month. That's a mistake even a rookie divorce lawyer would not have made.
