​@@Asrarulhaq2011 Those are not 'religions', to begin with (they are not a bunch of people who have 'decided' to believe in some god), and homosexuality, however wrong it may seem to you, occurs in nature in many different species. We don't necessarily know why it is there, but there exist compelling theories about it, mostly from Evolutionary Psychology. Atheism, as you know, if the very opposite of a belief in a god, as its name implies.

There used to be large Muslim (Lipka or Lithuanian-Polish Tatars) communities in Podollia and Volyn regions which used to be part of Poland

Some time later Polish king Jan III Sobieski gave them land (villages and farms, and right to build mosques) in a different region of Poland - Podlasie. That's why most Tatar settlements today, are in North Eastern Poland and western Belarus and Lithuania.

God commanded a closed edict and punishment on the Amalekites after tolerating 400 years of wickedness which included ritualistic prostitution and child sacrifices. The purpose was not an open edict to convert people to Judaism! War was not being used as an instrument of propagating the Jewish faith. The slaughter of the Amalekites represented an unusual historical circumstance, not an open edict and a regular means of behavior towards anyone who isn't Jewish. Islam sees violence as a means of propagating the Muslim faith. Islam divides the world into two camps: the dar al-Islam (House of Submission) and the dar al-harb (House of War). The former are those lands which have been brought into submission to Islam; the latter are those nations which have not yet been brought into submission. This is how Islam actually views the world. There is no comparison with the just punishment of God in the Old Testament with the open edict to perpetually wage war against non-Muslims (unless they convert or pay jizhya under a dhimmitude)

Some people do research on this in Hungary but unfortunatelly people have assimilated, killed or extinct due to the constant Christianisation and wars in Hungary. I know the "Böszörmények" were one of the tribes that came with us to settle in the new 'Hungary' I did have a few friend with this surname but we no longer know if it is just a given surname related to places or it is heritage of this tribe but needless to say they were turkic people just like us. We also had a big muslims population due to Bosnia migrations after mongol invasion.

6:40 Amir Timur's tomb in Samarkand, Uzbekistan was opened by Soviet archeologists on 20 June 1941, despite widespread protests by the local 'Ulema and Muslim populace. It was widely known that the tomb contained the ominous warning: "Whosoever Disturbs My Tomb Will Unleash an Invader More Terrible than I". On 22 June, the massive German-led invasion of the Soviet Union, comprising of over 3 million men; 'Operation Barbarossa', began. The German 6th Army and her allies finally surrended at Stalingrad in February 1943. Just over a fortnight or so beforehand, the arch atheist Stalin, had ordered that Amir Timur's tomb be reconsecrated with Islamic prayers.

Good overview of history but Genghis Khan himself never personally set foot in Europe. The last lands he personally conquered were Bukhara, Samarkand, and a part of Persia from the Khwarezmians. It was his grandson Batu Khan that sacked Kyiv and subjugated the Rus' principalities.

An interesting angle to take. I had heard of Crimean Tartars, but I had no idea that there was so much Islamic history in Ukraine. I wonder if Russia can claim Tartars as 'de facto' Russians and therefore they can claim taking parts of Ukraine today (?), I am sure Putin would if he could! Anyway, like I said before, very interesting and illuminating.

There is a federation called Tatarstan in Russia. They have their own sovereignty especially when it comes to religion. They don't work on Fridays and Eids.. Something you will never see in Germany or France or UK or USA. So why Putin would claim the Tatars as Russians when they naturally are!?
