Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, addresses the General Debate of the 79th Session of the General Assembly of the United Nations (New York, 24 - 30 September 2024).
World leaders gather to engage in the annual high-level General Debate under the theme, "Unity and diversity for advancing peace, sustainable development, and human dignity, everywhere and for all." Heads of State and Government and ministers will explore solutions to intertwined global challenges to advance peace, security, and sustainable development.
The UN General Assembly (UNGA) is the main policy-making organ of the Organization. Comprising all Member States, it provides a unique forum for multilateral discussion of the full spectrum of international issues covered by the Charter of the United Nations. Each of the 193 Member States of the United Nations has an equal vote.

That story about the car has been completely refuted by various respected news sources. In fact, the car manufacturer said that it is not true. My advice is to check your sources. There is tremendous corruption in the Ukrainian government. - That is true, but there are stories all over the internet about Zelensky having a vast fortune and there is no proof at all that this is true. It is mostly and possibly completely made up. It appears that most of Zelensky's assets are tied up in the production company that he owns from when he was an actor/comedian. There is no substantial evidence that Zelensky is personally corrupt. In regard to whether or not people support Ukraine, that should have no influence on whether they believe certain news stories. I will say again what I have often told people; Check your sources before you believe something that you hear or read.

He started his address by saying that he is concerned about Zaporozhye nuclear plant being occupied by Russian forces, because that may be the future radiation source, compering it to Chernobyl. However he forgot to mentions that his forces very recently incursed in Russia trying to reach Russian nuclear plant in Kursk and after they fail they are still occupying some Russian towns and villages on borders, obviously meaning that they still did not give up on that cunning plan. Then he started talking about energy grid and thermal plants that Russia destroyed in Ukraine and he asked us to image that happening in our countries. Well l do not have to image that, because l come from country whose energy grid and all power plants were destroyed by NATO nations now opposing Russia. l remember very well they said that energy grid and power plants are dual purpose objects meaning military uses them and because of that legitimate military targets.
