Fun fact: Almost any modern heli could smash a drone's wing to dust using its rotor and sustain essentially zero damage. Those things (heli rotors) are rated to take down trees.... and not small trees. This is obviously a bad idea to actually do (and if you need me to explain why its a bad idea.... Well, you wouldn't be watching this channel).... but they could. Plus, its literally only the wing, if they hit the motor?.... yeah?.. that would not be fun.

Fun fact: On a drone that big, they would just use a surface to air missile. That is the equipment of our Reaper drone and costs millions. They are using the trainers and shotguns to shoot down the little $1,000 DJI style and $10,000 style that is like 2x bigger than the DJI ones. Definitely not doing this for the Russian/Chinese version of a Reaper.

Fun fact I'm guessing you didn't actually watch the whole video? Cap said this is basically just a proof of concept. They're well aware that it's not the type of drone that's being talked about, that the ukrainians shoot down. He also pointed out that those Russian drones are typically very inexpensive. That's why they were doing this simulation. Unfortunately, they don't have a drone that small in DCs, so they just picked a drone to use for proof of concept🙄😂

Think its one of those things in real wars today where high tech is not sustainable and economic low tech or innovative or old school solutions are the inevitable route, radar guided / normal aaa, slow moving light propellor attack a/craft with cannons/machine guns almost ww1 level, attack helicopters with a targeted cannon, or ‘nam era door mounts. Prop planes with a small arm is literally going back to the beginning - ww1 pre fighter era. Also though anti drone drones…
