The free countries are at least supporting them a bit, so they can keep up and fight. If the fascists learn that these wars are not protitable, we will have less and less wars. Combat Infantry Veteran in a mechanized unit in Iraq. The Bradley was an absolute God on the battlefield. This is by far one of the best and most accurate depictions of how well a Bradley is in combat. I have not seen a better video of the Bradley in action since Iraq combat 2004-2007. Takes me back. My great uncle told me a lot about his time as a young soldier at the Eastern front during WW2, and this gives me an idea about how he felt. I think as Westerners, we don't have any idea about the brutal conditions in this scenario. The sheer landmass makes every major victory feel like a minor step forward. Keeping the supply lines going is just a hassle and quickly leads to miscalculation and death. The lack of cover in those open fields makes you vulnerable to air attacks. The weather, the endless grey, the mud, the hot summers... It's just a beautiful and yet brutal environment.

3:05 - if you watch closely where the spent shells are being ejected underneath the gun, you can see that there is some form of malfunction because 3 unfired rounds are ejected. i always wondered how malfunctions were resolved with autocannons like these, seems as though the ejection is either not recoil-based, there is a misfire detection functionality, or theres some insanely fast ukranian staying on top of keeping the gun up and running. very interesting to me, idk why.

This is in Kursk where the defensive positions likely have had zero if any time to set up mine fields. They aren't going to be dug-in the same way they had time to do in Ukraine. That's probably why. Also, it's not random smoke, the smoke covers your allies advancing behind you so they can't tell how many vehicles there are. Also, the TOWs aren't random per se, using that kind of fire will likely scare the enemy shitless and they'll stay down OR they could see things that we CAN'T see like maybe some sort of makeshift fortification or something else.

Given that Russians have complete superiority in aviation, which bombs the Kursk direction, Russians have an artillery superiority of 10 to 1 against Ukraine, it isn't surprising to me why Ukraine is constantly short of people, in Ukraine mobilization has not ended since 2022, the real losses of Russia and Ukraine aren't comparable..

Could someone explain the purpose of this mission? They are not taking ground with infantry. Is it some sort of harrassing attack? Wouldn't artillery shelling be as effective and less dangerous?

no shells, majority of the units have like 5-10 shells for the whole day and majority of the work done with fpv drones (some drone units fly 30-40 sorties per day), so they would use artilery only to direct fire on special targets

these types of missions are often done in conjunction with something else like a troop rotation or resupply, Troops cant stay on the front indefinatly and if you just rotate without any pressure on the enemy then that becomes the most ideal time for a counter attack, the front is at its weakest when undergoing resupply or rotation. seconfly it could be part of a wider assault, the target might not be that tree line but one to the side somewhere and this attack would suppress this treeline and prevent them from providing fire support for the position actually under assault, additionally if this "raid" inflicted any casulties it would prevent a potential counter attack from this specific position.

Ukrainians are fighting very smart. Good spacing between the vehicles. Prevents both from getting wiped in a single artillery salvo. Sprint in close to the enemy, making it hard for defensive artillery to fire. Recon by fire or saturation suppression of the treeline. Lead vehicle pops smoke to mask the approach of his wingman in the second Bradley.

Даже огнём на подавление очень трудно назвать, он тупо стоял боком около лесопосадки, от туда можно было бы дать из РПГ7. Тем более, если это линия соприкосновения или ещё что то либо, то там явно были бы мины, и разгуляться благодаря этому было бы очень трудно. Я вспоминаю видео, где десант всу взрывается на противопехотных минах буквально только подъехав, у парня ноги небыло.
