Ukrainian forces say they have 'hit a Russian missile boat in Black Sea' | BBC News

Ukrainian forces say they have destroyed a Russian missile boat from the Black Sea Fleet in a special operation off Russian-occupied Crimea.
Military intelligence said the Ivanovets - a small warship - received "direct hits to the hull" overnight, after which it sank.
It has released video footage that purports to show the moment of impact, followed by a big explosion.
There has been no word about the incident from Russian authorities.

LOL, after last week's embarrassing debacle, AFU now includes unassailable proof of what it announces. Honestly, the Russian Navy has never been more than average at best, historically speaking. 110 years ago, the Japanese Navy annihilated them at Tsushima, and the past 100 years hasn't really changed the perception of their surface fleet all that much. (Now, their submarine force is a different story; since WW2 their submarines have been very, very good). I mean look here; I'm a nobody and I can't believe at this stage of the war every ship in the Black Fleet hasn't had multiple heavy machine guns or 20mm autocannons installed on the bow, amidships on either side, and stern on either side. Nothing fancy, just bolt some manually operating rapid-fire guns on there and put a sailor at each one 24/7. How hard is that? Judging by the splashes, they were mostly using assault rifles to try to hit the drone that ain't gonna get it done. The Molniya-class corvette has only a single 76mm main gun, and two 30mm cannons----neither with the agility or rate of fire to deal with multiple jet-ski sized object coming from multiple directions simultaneously. I'd probably be a Rear Admiral in the Russian Navy with zero naval experience.

Actually this is a small missile boat with a main gun, to 20mm gatling guns for close defence, and short range AD missiles. Pretty heavily armed. But there were probably 4 drones. The boat has about 40 crew.

Give me a break, look at footage. Yes, it is real, it matches perfectly and isn't fake or altered. This also isn't the first time Ukraine has used drones to destroy Russian ships but this is the first time I have seen a swarm tackle a ship one after another or in sync. If only the BBC would do this more verifying on Russian propaganda it would be so easy for them to trick legacy media platforms. I think this was a Taranto class warship which was shown sinking in the footage.
