You are a superb teacher. You successfully broke down a complicated set of forms into logical and simplest possible approaches. Immediately after receiving your instructions, I was able to pause the video and answer the questions correctly. It will take time and practice for the forms to come naturally to my mind, and not have to halt and search my memory for the screenshots in this videos lol!

Russian is the only Slavic language that has that construction other than Ukrainians. It looks like Ukrainian -- which is otherwise mostly a West Slavic language -- "caught it" from Russian.

If I wanted to say, "The window had a broken pane," both ways. I could say, "У вікні була розбита шибка," or "Вікно мало розбиту шибку." ?????? дякую
