Hello. I have a question regarding the stepper driver. I have the same model of motor and drivers used in the video, and I also have some code that I found online that should work for the control of the motor. However, when I connect the motor (I am quite sure the connection is correct) and upload the code to arduino, my motor is not moving at all. When connecting the driver, I did notice that one of the IN pins (IN2) came is lose, could that be the issue? Or is there something else that would have to be wrong for the motor not to move at all? Because with the in pin lose, I would just expect to skip the step that it would take at that point, not to be completely irresponsive. Thank you in advance if someone responds this.

Hello sir, I don't use Arduino or any coding or software, but I have the same motor in 12V inside my star-light light source that spins the wheel for the twinkle effect. Even on the lowest speed, it is a bit too fast for my liking. Is there an easy way to modify this by adding a resistor, or a rheostat, or a voltage regulator, or a diode, or a potentiometer, etc without causing any damage? And which wire would I add it to? I would appreciate your advice. I just need to know of a way to make it turn slower please? Which wire and which electronic components would be best to use without causing any damage to the stepper motor please?

A mechanical solution might be best, if its spinning at twice the speed you want do a 2:1 gear reduction, if its spinning three times faster than you want do a 3:1 reduction and so on

8:50 The thing you did with the potentiometer is not so precise, as you turn in one direction and the motor turns partly forward and then backward.
