I’m so happy you’re reviewing this foundation! Your baby is so cute! I went to 3 shelters looking for a cat like her. I couldn’t find one but there was a grey cat at the shelter I always go to. I couldn’t stop thinking about him. He’s 16 now and still acts like a kitten and sometimes a dog. He loves my dog, they are always together. Thank you for this video

I started using this foundation a couple months ago and I have to say I absolutely love it! My skin still feels hydrated but not ultra Dewey. And it’s one of the only foundations I noticed a blurring effect on my pores. Ulta gets a two thumbs up from me with this one!!

I tried one of Ulta's foundations in the past (can't remember which one), and I personally didn't like it. I happen to love their eye makeup remover. Gets everything off, without stinging or burning. Ooooooo I really like this on your skin! It looks lovely close up and at "conversational" distance (through the lens). Ugh I’m 44 and peri menopause is in full swing. I’m on estradiol patch but the acne is INSANE. It’s acne but also super sensitive skin now so tretinoin burns like 🔥. Anytime you want to vent about menopause I’m here for it 😂. She’s a real B!

I have combination skin and I managed to buy this when it was on sale, having heard of it thanks to Cat’s Eye Beauty here on YT. Fair Neutral is a great match for me- you might like it too, and there are two fairer cool shades as I mentioned. I had the same issues with it that you did, but on the other hand it stays non shiny/matte a good while, which I love. I hate the dewy look in foundation personally.

Hi Shelley it may well be menopause and 47 is not an early start lol. I started perimenopause at 39 - hot flushes, hormonal fluctuations, rosacea started, brain fog etc etc etc. At 46 I had my very last period and I was so glad to be done with it (big gynae history including endometriosis, fibroids and eight surgeries). I'm 50 now and feel much better. Some women seem to sail through it with very minor issues, whilst others have a whole host of issues (I was one of the latter, which with my gynae history is unsurprising I guess). Despite being as dry as the desert I had a couple of blemishes, which was very unusual for me. I added a 1% BHA (Paula's choice calm) into my routine a few times a week and those went away - might be worth considering a BHA for yourself, if this is an ongoing issue. Most women have a few years of perimenopausal symptoms before being truly menopausal ie 12 months after their last period, so 47 is not an early start and truthfully is within normal age range. Onto the foundation - looked good on you, but if that is the second lightest shade then it's not all that light tbh. We don't have Ulta in Scotland and it's not something I'll be asking my sister to bring across for me lol. I did recently try the Sephora best skin ever in the very lightest shade - great shade match, but it was a bit drying and needs a really hydrating primer underneath to work on my very dry skin. Perimenopause doesn't have to be terrible. I got a follicle stimulating hormone test that showed I was still fully fertile, and 6 months later I had my last period. (I had the test because I had hit my 50s and didn't seem to be hitting peri yet.) I'm not sure most people know that Ulta Beauty brand is cruelty-free. They have great mascaras, good lip oils, and the absolute best eye primer.

I wish I could make it to 47!!!! I just turned 44. Perimenopause started when I was 37. I went 10 months with no period and felt like this is it, then had one in August last year and another this past April. I was so excited it was ridiculous. Fingers crossed that menopause isn’t official till 45. I just need one more period to get there. I wish I could make it to 50. Hot flashes are my biggest complaint. I eat foods that are high in phytoestrogens like flax seed to fend off the list of the unpleasant symptoms accompanying this season of life. It actually works because my doctor was confused by my last blood work results 😂. My estradiol level was above 30.

There was the slightest oxidation, but overall, it looks really nice. I gave it the A- before you said it. (Our grading criteria are so similar.) I love that Ziva plays with Charlie. Menopause is in my review mirror.. all done. Occasional hot flash, bur any personality changes to the bitchy side are all me. I earned it as I am older than you and as the saying goes, I am all out of F***s. I hope you don't have too many issues Charlie is adorable.
