Brian Johnson has an amazing ability to be in the front and yet get out of the way. No one else could have ever put their ego aside and let what happened happen. He deserves a lot of credit for this. He could not fill Bon Scott's shoes; he could not make AC/DC better. Somehow, he managed to keep a good thing going without stepping on anyone's toes. Brilliantly humble he was, and still is.
@cgmoran91

Totally agree. He does help that the band knew the Bon liked Brian's work. I saw that Bon's mom aske the boys to continue the band. They are all humble and knew they had something special. And we the fans benefit from it.

Angus and Malcolm are highly underrated for the work they do on albums. I used to watch bands try to play AC/DC covers, and they never sounded close to the real thing. Many guitar players, like me, didn't understand how they wrote different, complimentary guitar parts that sounded like one guitar. We usually botched, or didn't figure out what Malcolm was doing.

Bon Scott's death was a real downer, and I was one of those who was skeptical of a new singer... until I heard Back In Black. It was so good it was undeniable, a force of nature. I heard not one complaint. Bon Scott will always have a place in my RocknRoll soul for the great music he did with ACDC,and Brian Johnson will always have such a place for helping ACDC rule for 4 more decades. I met Brian and Cliff about ten years ago in a bar in Atlanta. Brian was truly a cool guy to talk to. And he's most definitely in the 5'4" range.
