Customer isn’t looking to spend too much on a super high end motherboard, so it isn’t necessary to spend extra just to get a higher end motherboard

The Z790 is more than enough for what the customer needs. He is not extreme overclocker, so we really don’t see the point in using a high end expensive motherboard just to bring up the total cost of this entire build

@@archetype_origins Nobody is talking for extreme OC or something like that (absolutely useless). But if you watch the VRM Temps and more, you will see a significant difference between an ASUS Prime and an ASUS Hero Board. As well you will be able to optimize RAM better on a good board, instead of an entry board.

@@anre1112 stop watching shitty tests about temps, most of them are meant to scam people and buy far more expensive boards, i bet you are that one type of a guy who thinks you need liquid cooling for i9 or otherwise it will melt the noctua cooler 😂

Did you get the promised 6200MT/s out of the RAM with this four stick setup?

I did not, I have tried multiple ways to overclock it to 6200MH/s, but I keep getting blue screen or instability in windows. It seems like the motherboard isn't liking it, hopefully future BIOS update would fix the issue. As for now, it is still using the default clock speed

Isn't better to use 2 RAM slots but with the same capacity rather than using all of the slots since it's DDR5 also?

There’s a lot of debate whether to use 2 slots or 4 slots. As far as I know, 4 slots will lower the frequency and will make the system unstable. However, I didn’t overclock the RAM speeds and I haven’t had any issue with the 4 slots configuration and I really like the aesthetic of 4 RAMs so it works well for me💪🏼

As for now, even though 6200MH/s doesn’t work. Maybe in the future, with BIOS update, it can be supported, who knows!
