@@CKYew I played in the NIA years ago when they used to have that tournament for normal people. The sheer size of the place was intimidating, but I didn't notice the shuttlecock flying differently. But they had a million courts in there, with all the main lights on, so I guess the conditions were different. I thought I might see you at the All England, but I didn't. 😅

I agree with you about depth perception. It is difficult in big arena's like the NIA. That is from experience. I played a tournament there back in the 90's run by Yehlex. None of the lighting or the courts mats the pro's get, but it was great to play there.

Very hard to play in halls like this, especially if the a/c is on. The shuttlesock slows down unexpectedly and its tracjectory curves to a certain side of the court. Your swings must be quick and decisive. That's why even pro players tend to make a lot more mistakes when on tour. It's not like playing at home. They have to perform in all sort of different conditions and that causes their performance to fluctuate. Not to mention, certain conditions can alter your playstyle and game plan completely.

Hi, I have had a 3 or so year break from badminton and broke my 3u Z Force 2 just before I stopped playing. Can you recommend a good racket for me I’m 5’11 and I used to be primarily a singles player. However, it looks like I will be playing both evenly now. Also I’m looking to buy a pair of 65Z3 or 65Z2. Do you know when stock is lightly to come in for them as I can’t find either in my size anywhere?

It’s very hard to recommend rackets without you trying out some, perhaps the 100ZZ might be for you or even the Arc11 Pro? I’m not sure where you’re based but you could get those shoes online 👍 good luck

Hi CK, when you said the shuttle flies so slow, did you mean it in relative term or absolute term?

It just feels like the shuttle takes ages to get to your opponent's side, hence the feeling of slow. And you just can't put it down onto the court so I guess that's where the feelings come from.
