@@HowToCakeIt Well, I personally love your novelty cakes and I love watching you decorating cakes with fondant, but I would not make a fondant cake myself because I don't have neither your talent nor your training and experience. Furthermore, I would just be wasting money on fondant as I don't eat it and neither my family does. So I prefer making cakes with good flavour combinations and easy on the decorating. This is to say that I see your point when you state that everyone seems to enjoy the flavours more than the decor these days.
