Do u got a problem with me cuz I'm white?" (The argument in the fountain between McClane and Zeus.) I just feel the whole race subplot coulda been tossed. The movie stands well enough on it's own. I don't know what's going on behind the camera, but it's annoying to think that Screen Rant will forever have ownership of Pitch Meetings when Ryan is the heart and soul of it all. Normally you need some kind of asset from a company your work goes under: name recognition, recording equipment, some staff to do work you can't, but I feel like Ryan is doing all the heavy lifting while Screen Rant still gets the paycheck because they've locked him in. Like I said, idk what's going on behind the camera, but let's hope Ryan got the better deal and is happy about it all.
@dudetheman32 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I think you're right about that. My guess is this: Ryan probably pitched the idea to ScreenRant and they brought him on to their channel, a relative 'nobody' at the time. His show turns out to be the most popular thing on the SR channel but they still own the rights to it because it's their channel and he works for them. However, he now has leverage since his show is the main reason that people visit SR, and he can negotiate getting his own channel, getting a better pay cut from what he was getting before. I don't know what ties, if any, this channel has to the ScreenRant channel though. Maybe someone else can speak to that. Otherwise, why not just do pitch meetings under his own channel. (This is my completely uneducated guess, I have not a single clue how KZbin channels actually work)
