Energizer+Plord+Brickell was how I beat spice islands on chimps (I also grabbed Popseidon in the late game). It's definitely one of my favorite strategies of all time, just watching all the ZOMGs on rounds like 98 or 96 just disappear was way too satisfying.

plord + flag can synergize insanely well with the right context. Using plord to deal heavy damage to ZOMG layers at the entrance while flagship can clean up efficiently with some support. Plord can also thin out BFBs and remove up to two ZOMGs with the ability so flagship doesn't get swamped with super ceramics.

This is my single favourite strategy and I wish more people used it it’s so much fun. Especially on non chimps game modes you make soooo much money from the hooks as well. it makes for such an easy late game

I used this combo when I was first learning how to use abilities and get comfortable actually playing Chimps mode, it was really fun. I first did it on Spring Spring and hooked basically everything before it even got the back, this was before they buffed Pirate's main attacks a while back. Looks way stronger now, good video

Pirate lord is interesting as you can use it almost like a pseudo first strike and hook in the 3 DDTs and one of the ZOMGs inside the BAD. It just usually is outclassed by carrier flagship. For a tower that's just roughly 2-3k more, flagship just does way more than pirate lord without any input. Outclassed however, does not mean bad though and pirate lord is certainly a tower that can win chimps runs. Not on most expert maps because a lot of expert maps water placement is pretty bad like ravine and glacial but certainly in advanced maps you can find a lot of success with it like enchanted portal, peninsula, and Pat's pond.

I used brickell plord energizer for a flooded valley chimps run and on a few other occasions aswell. I think it's a very intuitive synergy. Very satisfying.

I like plord, energizer, and Psi for layer-skipping all the 90s. Especially with super glue or another big stall tower

Great video :) I have used brick+giver in the past but only recently got decent with mine stalling. One of my fav combos outside of Gerry robo cheese (don’t hate it’s how I did most of my expert bbs)

I think you missed a major issue with the cannonship/monkey pirates. They are so so goddamn inconsistent. A cannon ship has so much dps, but leaks r27

I find it to be more of a lack of damage, on the right map and targeted correctly consistency is greatly reduced (a lot of maps are bad though which would be correct for your point) but the damage isn’t that great. Monkey pirates is alright, wouldn’t put trust in it on harder maps.
