The burger and sweet potato fries do look amazing - if we are ever down that way again, we will have to stop for sure! Another fun adventure! Another super pretty area.

Yes, it’s definitely a winner. I like some of those small town drive-ins. Hard to beat!

We were up to Alstrom Point Labor Day 2021. We had a perfect night with no wind. Smokey Mountain road was closed so we to Croton Road up to Escalante. 130 miles and we never saw another person. We enjoyed your video. Thanks.

Thanks for commenting! Yes, I love how remote it is. We took Croton road on the way down and Smokey Mountain for part of the way back. The southern end of Smokey Mountain around the Kelly grade area is totally worth it if you get a chance to come back.

Very well done. I’m headed that way next week, from Denver. So many choices, starting at Poison Springs Canyon.

Thanks, sounds like a great trip you’ve got coming up. I’ve always wanted to do Poison Springs Canyon so it’ll have to be something we do soon.

In April my family and I took the trip to Alstrom Point from the Canyonlands in Utah. It's one of those views you never forget. Crazy to see how low Powell has become though.

It’s awe-inspiring for sure. Our trip was the first weekend in April and we had perfect weather the first couple of days. Then the wind hit (next video). Did you go through the Maze district to get to Alstom Point?
@Socaljeeping8 ай бұрын
@@xplor_adventure we live in San Diego so our first stop was a 3 day trip in the maze district (highly recommend, particularly the Panorama site) and then made our way over smokey mountain to Alstrom. It was a full 10 hour day of driving from the Maze to Alstrom. We pulled into camp at Alstrom at 10pm and it was pitch black out. Promised my wife the lake was below us. Our first view of it was at sunrise when we opened the tent. Amazing way to start the morning. If you were there the first week of April maybe we drove by each other :)

Great video. Where were you at 22:45?

Thanks for watching. That’s Cottonwood Canyon Road south of Cannonville. We show a bunch more of it in our next video.
