i grew up on beef liver and chicken liver, most people i know are grossed out by livers and gizzards, when thats what mom put on the table, you ate it and liked it.

Love this, mom used to make it. My friends are grossed out by liver and other stuff like feet and ears or tongues or hearts of animals, but if cooked and prepared correctly those are some of the most tasty things ever.

It’s personal. As a baby boomer, my father, a German Lithuanian first generation American made simplistic Liver & Onions, I, the eldest of three siblings, took to this dish. As my brother’s scurried, I could hardly wait. Served with rough sautéed onions, wedge of lemon and vegetable of the day, I was sharpening my utensils together. All the more for me dear brothers. Thank you for rising this food memory up from the ashes and flame.

Can you make a beef and kidney meat pie? I love organ meats. I absolutely love hearts and liver. When I go visit my mom, we always eat beef liver and onions or chicken liver with onions. And I love gizzards and tripe. Tripe has got to be one of my most favorite, However I also love tendon.
