The most impressive thing is this video was Kyle’s ability to deliver coherent linear informative speech for 14 uninterrupted minutes despite the onslaught of distractions from the crowd. People don’t realize how hard that can be. I’m blown away. Kyle’s a genius when it comes to at least two things: public speaking and EVs.

Kyle never ceases to amaze me in his ability to convey so much information and specific detail about whatever car, truck, delivery van, scooter, etc. he is presenting, with no notes, flowing free-form from his brain. I honestly don't know anyone who is his peer on KZbin any discipline and I'm pretty deep into a few. His enthusiasm is clearly authentic. I have no plans to buy a BEV anytime soon, but thanks to Kyle I know more about BEV's than just about anyone I meet, including owners and the dealers that sell them. (Especially the dealers that sell them, for the most part, unfortunately.) Keep up the great work, Kyle!

Taycan (4S CT in my case) hits thermal limits in 20-30 minutes on the track, and DC charging it leaves it pretty heat soaked too, so I'm glad they're doubling down on thermal management. It's the biggest downside to tracking a Taycan right now, but otherwise even that heavy beast of a wagon is magical on the track. Can't wait to trade up to an electric Cayman!

I will be honest are things done to this vehicle that I don't think it'll find its way into road going vehicles. When it concerns heat management, the e-Performance has one really stand out thing... it's oil-cooled. The whole thing, motor and battery. The Taycan isn't, it is water-cooled... auto journalist Chris Harris had a track run with this and the chat with the engineers of the E-performance on youtube (collecting cars channel) and to hear them tell it water cooling is much easier.

That said I do not worry too much, Porsche has been toying with how it manages heat in the Taycan. It is likely the reason it beat the Plaid by a whole 2 seconds at the Nürburgring.

I understand the two different colors for the single lug nuts on the wheels, as you described. However, why would they put red on the left side? You would think red-right. Even the German word begins with R.

They are not so that you put them on the correct side of the car or for directional tires as Kyle stated, they are threaded differently. Red is right hand thread (righty tighty) and blue is left hand thread (lefty tighty). In this configuration both are rotated toward the front of the car to loosen, so it is easy to remember for pit stops, but more importantly, braking forces (which are higher than acceleration forces) actually tighten instead of loosen the nuts.
