Simpletivity have you ever found any solid solutions for printing your Google calendar? I have had issues with appointments not going where I put them either from the phone or the computer and sometimes syncing issues. But I still really need to use the digital calendar and would like to have a little bit of paper backup both for making quick notes on the Run and the Simplicity of being able to move things around or create repeating appointments automatically. But all of their print options have serious flaws that I have found. Agenda puts a bunch of junk below every single appointment and all the other calendar options cut off the words. Looking to stop going around in circles about this and find a real solution.

I have gone through all the setting right along with you on your video, and still in my google email everyday it comes up with a message that says, "You have no events scheduled today." I do have scheduled events but they are not showing up in mail. I have email checked as my default. Any idea of what may be going on?

Keep in mind that this email agenda setting is for each calendar that you manage in Google Calendar. So you will need to turn it on for all of the calendars for which you'd like to receive an update in Gmail. I hope that helps!

I have an issue with google calendar and I am not able to solve it. In my current calendar(2021), I have past events from my other gmail accounts plus from previous years show up and it is a headache to manage the current events while previous years events piling up. I can delete them, then I will not have a way back to those for some references that I may need to draw, like I went to a business seminar in 2019 but don't remember details, I should be able to go back on that calendar and check. Good morning, love your videos. Question, is there a way to assign management rights to an individual guest in a google calendar event with multiple guests? I have a rather large event setup with over 30 people but I unchecked the "See guest list", however, I do want to give those rights as well as the right to "Invite others" to one of the individuals. What is the best way to do this? If there is no way will changing ownership work?

That's a fantastic question. Unfortunately, I don't have a great answer. If you are using GSuite, then you may have this option. Otherwise, I would assume changing ownership would work yet I haven't tested this out myself.

Any thoughts on how to change the minute/hour timeline in daily view? For example, if my day doesn't start until 8am I'd rather not have to see scroll through hours 1am through 7am. FWIW, and anecdotally, one of perhaps many differences between account types, the checkbox for "Automatically add video calls to events I create" shows up on my personal Google Calendar but not on our company's GSuite Google Calendar accounts.

I'm trying to sync my google calendar to the calendar on my website. We managed to do that, however, on my website calendar it just says "busy" I checked the "make available to the public, but it is not doing that. It still says "busy" Any suggestions.

Take a look at your Permissions Settings for that particular calendar and adjust the Anyone Can option. I hope that helps!

Many of these settings are only available to adjust on the desktop/web version.

You should still be able to do this, Paula. When you are in the full-screen edit mode of an event, there should be a colored circle about half-way down that can be changed. I hope that helps!

Thank you! I came here because I was having an issue with Google Calendar. Under "Other calendars" I have lessons that automatically come up when people make an appointment with me on a particular website. The problem is these appointments are not showing as "busy" on my other appointment systems, and it looks as though these times are available. Other websites where people are booking me are working just fine. It's only appointments from this one website that's giving me trouble. Would you have any idea how to resolve this?

Nowhere can I find if there is a way to make the lefthand panel with the mini calendar more narrow. I need more space to see events in the actual calendar, not a big left panel that only needs the calendar names on it.

When in the year view, click on any date to see your schedule for that day. Otherwise, there is no color coding on the entire view of the year.

It's true that you do need to enable this for each individual calendar within your account. However, only a single agenda should be emailed with all event information combined.

Any chance the big Google Brain can figure out how to put TODAY'S DATE inside the app icon (such as the Samsung calendar does). That's instead of the annoying "31" that appears inside the calendar app's icon. Not sure how this hasn't been fixed long ago! I am unable to synchronize the Google Calendar event entries I am inputting on my newest Samsung A50 phone with the Google Calendars on an older Samsung A5 phone and most importantly, on my PC Google Calendar. All 3 Google Calendars are using my Google Gmail account. I have tried most of the fixes available on the internet such as ensuring Auto Sync is turned on and there is adequate storage. I use Charms Office Assistant. It a Marching Band App. We use the calendar in Charms to let students/parents know all the events associated with the schedule. I.e. afternoon rehearsal, football game, etc... I make a private calendar event when someone tells me they are going to be absent. I've set that up so that I'll get an email notification reminding me that it's excused. My google calendar doesn't update when I add a new event. I'm guessing I have to sync them, but I don't know how? Any hints?

My question is I use my calendar as Schedule for my rescue squad and we go 12 hours shifts, all of sudden it goes 1/1 and 2/2. I understand the 12 hours goes into the next day. Is it possible that it does not do that or is that just a new update that does it. I just looked at my husband ipad and it is different then mine his is the way it was until this month. My google calendar in FIREFOX shows my events within a day as a dot and single line or text. I want it to be a rectangle visually showing the length of the meeting and showing if events are overlapping. How do I change this setting? Is that a browser limitation? On my iphone the events show up as rectangles they way I want them to.

For a public calendar that I set up, with multiple people adding to it, can I set a default which will automatically tack on 5 minutes to any time slot that someone adds? (eg. If someone books a 15 minute time slot it will show as 20 mins on the calendar).
