Dude, stop acting like you aren't a drummer as well lol! If you are like me, you are a guitarist, but you pay more attention to the drums in a mix!! This all sounds amazing bro!

Haha thanks. I did used to play drums a lot more. Played drums briefly in another band. I’ve always watched videos of drummers and found it inspiring for writing

Got my hands on a signed signature ESP someone was selling a 4h drive away. Now I have the STL-Tone and your guitar. This will be the next one I need! By far the best player out there. (but I also love the whammy style solo Sean does in WSS

So smart putting the usable hard hits at 127. Always found the ranges of hard, usable hits in the libraries I own but they are usually living in the 100 to 120 range. Once you slide them around it's easy to pull them up too much and overshoot them into blip-territory. Makes total sencefor 127 being the ceiling of good sounding hard hits. Be great to see how you program for a more chill song in the veigns of architects or spiritbox. Also, any plans on a Facebook group? I'd support as moderator 😅

Hey Josh, I really appreciate these videos, just picked up Ultimate Heavy Drums because I been wanting to lay down drum tracks to my guitar riffs much more easily and as someone who's not a drummer and has little knowledge about drumming a lot of the things you talk about are helpful to have in mind when mapping them!

I have that problem with my ghost notes being too muddy and bass heavy. This is insightful thanks.

thanks dude, appreciate the insight into all these things, ive been using these drums for a new song im writing and damn im just loving it, everything punches through the mix. kinda unrelated, but would love to see more videos from you about how to generally self produce and record, e.g how you prep your guitar for recording, recording with amp sims to album standard, setting the right input gain, just general recording tricks to get your guitars as professional as possible, just an idea that me and pretty sure many others would love to see. take care dude and congrats on this drum vst!

Hi, do you know how my ezdrummer midi grooves can work with this software?
@MaidanRustle2 ай бұрын
Can you not just import the midi file to a track in your DAW and then run the UHD with it? You'll need to make sure the mapping is correct, if so.

the whole point of these tools is not every one has access to those... more people able to create art and express themselves is a good thing.
