Love to see how my favourite monsanto shilling, big pharma bootlicking, alt right youtuber sets up his rig. Recommending lights no doubt made by slave labour in some yorkshire dungeon.....Notic how he uses flashy USB (short for Use Slavelabour Boys) lighting strips to distract from the dark dungeon -like interior of his new bunker....sorry "warehouse". I'm suprised he didn't edit out the bit where one of his escaped "free labourers" got into shot, the longing for aid and pleading for rescue obvious on his face, it was passed off as a joke about having a "tea lady", see how he dehumanises the poor man by calling him a "lady".....what even is one of those, some kind of rat I'm guessing, but I know for definite they don't have "ladies" in the Grim Dark North, only undead could roam the street in January in Wakey in a boob tube and not keel over from immediate hypothermia. Don't buy into his products guys, he deserves no help from the community , all of the money goes into his greedy luxury car driving fat cat bank account. I implore you, DO NOT buy his products, even if they are fantastic and some of the best and well costed hobby products on the market. I ordered a package the other day and it literally turned up first thing in the morning next day....now that concerned me, as the only way to make that happen is via sorcery (which isn't even real), or witchcraft....which I'm guessing this satan loving top knot wearing skinny jeaned freak is all about. Here he is producing free content for people to peruse, he can only do it free because he uses indentured minions, just like the drug cartels of the south west of Canada. Free does not mean good. My government tried to give me a "free" education....but I fought it, for the cost of that "free" was too steep, I didn't want to end up buying into the narrative the other sheeple eat up. Be free, stay strong, and whatever you do, don't watch the rest of his videos in search for satanic iconography....I lost too much time and sleep uncovering the hidden symbolism and dark numerology in his videos, although my bases do look nice now.

I actually built my own hobby desk a year ago. I used 3/4" sanded plywood but the best part was I paid a maker space owner to CNC out some 1/2" MFD to a design I drew up on Fusion 360. It was a giant Imperial Galactic Empire Symbol from Star Wars and then pieces on all the sides to look like the halls of the Death Star. I painted it all with an Imperal grey over white and the symbol is black. It's so Star Wars it hurts. I love it.

I used to have a setup like yours, but eventually gave up on it as I found Kallax too tall to sit and too low to stand. No matter what I did, I ended up with backpains. I eventually bought a table with variable height, and have enjoyed both sitting and standing while working ever since. So in my opinion, no matter what else you want as part of your setup, such a table is an absolute must-have. It will save you an awful lot of backpain over the years.

I was looking at Kallax to make a war table for the games room. but it was too low for me . I dreaded bending over like that when playing. So eventually I bought two huge display tables from a craftsstore. My war table now stands at a comfortable 105 cm. But if you want you can very easily make a huge crafting table/ wargames table from a couple of Kallax and some OSB/MDF sheets. maybe some wheels. idk.

this vid came in very handy as I am planning my new workspace as we speak. My room's dimensions are almost similar to yours, so the Kallax idea will make a great fit. I think. Also the idea with the lighting looks quite pro like. I would not go for black walls though. I hear what you say, but for me, it's a bit too dark. However, I am not intending to become a UTuber with an own studio. But I would have to leave space for a foldable gaming table for my Kings of War, Age of Sigmar and 40k armies. Maybe also for the occassional WW2 tabletop game ;-). U got a sub and a like !

I used two old filing cabinets, 3 8' 2x4's and an old door for my desk. Having a lot of square fottage for doing hobbies makes it so much easier! Until you realize that theres about 20 unfinished projects sitting there, with another 20 looking at you that you just have to get to, right now, for some reason. I find that if I put something in a cupboard or closet, that once out of sight, its out of mind.
