With Necromancy coming out that makes 6 skills you have to get to 99 over osrs.. That's going to make things very interesting towards the end.

I think even with RS3 having way more skills than osrs, everything is *faster*, and everything is alot quicker to get. Will be a cool thing to see progress on !

Man good luck, but i don't know if you realize what a serious time commitment maxing on one, let alone both of these games really is. I've seen quite a few youtubers talk up the idea of maxing who ended up falling short in the long run. It takes 8.2 years to max in osrs if you gain 100k exp a day every day for over EIGHT YEARS! And it's about to get longer with the introduction of sailing. I have a 2100+ ironman on osrs and realistically I'm still a long ways from maxing. Like just over the halfway mark. It's sobering when you look at EHP rates and think about what a pain in the ass it is to level skills like prayer and herblore on an iron. RS3's much easier to afk and has much better exp rates. Personally, I think it'd be better to have these two characters on separate accounts so that you could progress both accounts at the same time.

That's interesting! I've had people tell me they think I'll max in OSRS first since RS3 has much more skills and a few 150 max skills! I really am curious to see which happens first! I'm in this for the long haul! I hope it doesn't take 8 years, but if it does, then this will probably be one of the longest running RuneScape series! Lol!

@@marcusisahooper Dude at your current pace, you're looking at maxing one of these accounts in about 100 years. There is no getting around the fact that maxing in either one of these games requires a serious time commitment. Thousands of hours are needed of your ass being in the chair even for people who know exactly what they are doing while playing as efficiently as possible. Either you're no lifing it and playing 12-16 hours a day and doing it over the course of a year or you're playing consistently 2-3 hours a day for about 6-8 years. Either way you slice it, it's a crazy commitment to max in just one game and even crazier if you're trying to split your attention into two of the most grindy games on the market in their respective turbo grind ironman modes. All I'm saying is it's easy to just say "yeah I'm racing to max!" But unless you really have a game plan on how you're going to approach this mountain of a challenge it just comes off as a bit naive. Like I said before I would personally rather have both characters on separate accounts. You could do more afk activities like star mining, sand crab combat training or cutting redwoods on one account while doing more active play or training methods on the other account.

Quest cape would be faster in Osrs. Dungeoneering levels many skills at once, don't you just get that skill to 99 first?

This will be an interesting series for sure! I gotta place my money on OSRS being faster. There's just so much planning time during those walks on rooftops; and by that I mean just less skills. I feel like the best methods aren't TOO far apart in both games except for construction? I'm not sure.

Combat is waaaaaaaay faster on rs3. But the other skill are much closer

@@barryeasler5863 as it should be rs3 is about bossing quit osrs bc it was too boring and easy got my inferno cape 2nd try and the only fun thing was tob with friends but meh
