The Maldives was simply paradise on earth- a haven of fresh ocean air and peace amidst stunning views. By day, we snorkeled in bright turquoise waters right from our overwater villa, and channeled our inner child as we built intricate sand mazes for hermit crabs on the beach. Afternoons were spent lounging on the white sandy shores, soaking up the golden sun of the Indian Ocean, and evenings were enjoyed on the west side of the island, where we practiced sunset yoga and watched the sun sink into the horizon. @@ChadandClaire French Polynesia is in my opinion 1 level up from Maldives but I also love Maldives (being there 4 times, 2 time in Le Meridien ). Unfortunately for me, I get some allergy to something in Le Meridien only.
