For over half a century Bond in the movies has taken out countless bad guys, with a fair bit of collateral damage along the way. Often defeating henchman who are much bigger and stronger, it goes to show that being a meat-headed gym-queen will achieve the sum total of bugger-all when pitted against the training and skills of Her Majesty’s finest. What is Bond’s secret formula? A love of violence? Misogyny? Chauvinism? Substance abuse? No, the formula is his mastery of Elite Outcomes. That’s what people really love and admire, his ability to be so efficient in every endeavour, including death in the afternoon. Nobody does it better, and this video is a showcase of that. Enjoy!

I feel like Daniel Craig gets a lot of hate but he did most of his own stunts for bond and really gave the role 110% percent.

the thing is people always say he gets a lot of hate but every video I've ever seen with craig's bond people are always giving him praise. plus there's no way he did most of his own stunts, especially in the newer movies. the stunts in bond movies always are so physical

i mean did you see how good lazenby did, he was the youngest bond and was very fit so he did most of his own stunts. ive seen more action in his one movie than most of the craig films

In Roger Moore's movies, it is brilliant how friendly the fight scenes are. So civilised, taking it in turns to hit each other with telegraphic blows. No dodging or blocking.

If you count pro wrestling as a martial art, then both Harold Sakata (Oddjob) and Dave Bautista (Mr. Hinx) are henchmen, who actually know how to fight - both Sakata and Bautista were pro wrestlers before they played henchmen

Brilliant compiled scenes where 007 (Licence To Kill is an exception as his status has been removed, more than earned it's place on the list) that show his prowess when he's challenged physically by an equally skilled opponent. Of course it shows he has a merciless side when it comes to stopping enemies: Sanchez burned alive. Vargas impaled via harpoon. King shot dead. Grant being strangled. Tee Hee thrown out of the train. Sandor falling on solid concrete. Locque trapped in a car, kicked off a small cliff. The list definitely goes on and I'm pleased to see a lot of Moore being featured here - as he's the most criticised - when he battles assassins almost single handed in Octopussy, along with "Ivan" and "Boris" in the 1977 movie. Kudos to 007 when he hurriedly gets a drink after his battle with the fearsome warlord Obanno in Casino Royale: despite it being omitted - excellent work.

Disagree. Lazenby was right up there alongside Connery, like the latter, Lanzenby really could handle himself. His fight in OHMSS is up there alongside any of Connery's. Connery was a genuine hard nut. When he was 18, he did some door work in Edinburgh and he had trouble with 4-5 members of a very unpleasant gang who carried blades. It followed a previous run it at a snooker hall, when one gang member threw the then Thomas Connery's leather jacket on the floor, only for Connery to raise his snooker cue and say, "You've got five seconds to pick that up, or you can have some of this!" The gang member tamely picked the jacket up and replaced it back on the chair it had been resting on. A few days later, the gang decided to 'sort' Connery out. 4-5 of them turned up outside the venue where Connery worked on the door. They gave him abuse and challenged him to come outside- firmly believing that he would be intimidated, decline the challenge and therefore be humiliated. Without any hesitation, Connery went outside and hammered the 4-5 of the them, he knocked them out, they were guys in the mid to late 20's. In the aftermath a few days later, the gane were so impressed by Connery, they approached him, and offered him a place in the gang. Needless to say, he politely declined. Michael Caine was a good friend of Connery's and they went drinking together in London. On one occasion, Caine witnessed Sean knock out 3-4 blokes who were being rowdy in a pub. There was an open mic and people were getting up singing, the blokes concerned were shouting and cat calling at people on the mic. Eventually, Connery turned around and told them to pack it in. They went quiet for a few minutes, but then resumed shouting abuse. Caine states in his biography, 'Sean slammed his pint down and said, "That's it! I've had enough!" He stood up, turned around and waded into the four blokes. In the time it me to put my pint glass down and turn to help Sean, he had knocked the four of them clean out." Connery had a ferocious temper when riled and he was big unit, having come 3rd in a Mr Universe competition. That's how he got his break into acting. A talent scout for a theatre play in London about the Roman era was at the competition, spotted Sean and approached him. He offered him the opportunity to work as an extra on stage, Connery snapped his arm off and the rest, as they say is history! Connery also battered a member of the mafia, the guy was dating Lana Turner, whom Sean starred alongside in a film. Lana had the hots for Connery, and invited him to a party at her house. She flirted with him for much of the evening, and the mafia boyfriend was jealous. The following day, he decided to 'sort' Connery out. He turned up at the film studio and confronted Connery. He made the mistake of pulling a pistol on Connery, who promptly disarmed him and gave him a terrible hiding. His parting words were, "If you ever come near me again, I'll hurt ye properly next time!"

I think Lazenby is the strongest. He handle himself with that large black dude. However I think if the writers retained Connery's Bond's ruthlessness like in FRWL for the sequels, Connery might be the best.

That's because he could fight in real life, ex special forces soldier. He wasn't an actor fighting, he was a fighter acting. Shortly after making this film Lazenby and Oliver Reed had a "difference of opinion". It lasted three punches and Reed was lying on his back having blocked the punches using his face. 😄
