I feel like after 10 years or however long it's been most of us are watching for the randomness, personality, bullshittery, and hilarity rather than it being a straight up cooking show. It's like when your favourite streamer stops playing just one game and moves into variety - if you've watched them for long enough you're there for the vibes and you're in no matter what. At this point I watch Sorted because I like the lads, and doing stuff like this video highlights all the best bits of them. Sure it's nice to learn some techniques and new foods every now and again, but the strength of this channel is the fun and banter between everyone while tip-toeing the line between cooking abominations and culinary genius. It's basically just a vehicle for joy - and I love it.

I loved seeing the boys back up to their antics and shenanigans. And not taking them to the point they were too far but just a good old laugh. Definitely Mike made loaded nachos and something that you could likely see at some fusion restaurant. 👏🏻 The other two however even when you stretch the brief to allow for creativity they didn’t make loaded nachos. Components I would look for in any nachos are tortilla chips in some form they can be sweet or savory a sauce of some kind and accouterments that would level it up to loaded and not just nachos (chips and a sauce for dipping).

An idea for a finale to the chef badges series. The three normals have to do a “final exam” where they each have to defend three of the badges they have earned in the series to test they have actually retained the knowledge for that badge. Ebbers can choose the badges for each normal or could put it up for vote by the community. Could be a good shakeup right at the end where any of the normals could walk away as overall series winner.

As a proud Texan, I spent most of this video shaking my head in disbelief! I predicted the bottom layer of Mike's nachos would be soggy from the moment he first described his plan. But he did at least make something reasonably closely related to nachos!!! Custard and nachos SHOULD NOT go together!!!! I think I might have forgiven Jamie if not for the custard!!! But Barry's was so entirely removed from the entire genre of nachos that he should have been fundamentally disqualified and only had the voting happen between Jamie and Mike!!!

Mike made loaded nachos. Jamie made undercover loaded nachos. Barry read the first word and made a loaded (with booze) dessert. At no point did "somehow this tastes like nachos" come as a description for Barry's, so - sorry, Sorted Team, STOP BEING WEAK AND ACCEPTING BOOZE BRIBES. (But otherwise stellar work as always, keep up the amazing work, we all love you, hugs for all who want one). I think Jamie pulled off a win by making something unique that (from their reviews) tasted like the intended target. That's some cleverness. Mike went for quantity and made three different nachos but only had one clean serving dish and the party was already in full swing. Barry was just drunk (Jamie crushing that shell was SAVAGE, talk about emotional damage!) but shared his booze, so a well earned third.
