So fun fact about Phoenix Wright, extremely few people play him because of... well how bad he is compared to other characters, however the few that do play him easily create 'hype' moments because of the fact that when he's in turnaround mode, the mode where he's glowing gold and did his little 'no alibi, no hope' bit he's one of the strongest characters in the game. Capcom has a habit of making one character that is normally a joke but once certain conditions are met that character is one of the most hyped up thing to see.

Phoenix Wright is the only character that is low, mid, and high tier. When you start the fight, he's pretty low tier, having to find "clues". Once he activates this mode, the "clues", if they are certain items, will add to his moveset, giving him poke abilities and utility. Once he hits with an Objection I'm this mode and having three good "clues" he enters Turnabout Mode. And he will sue you to death

For your information, Shuma Gorath (the tentacle one eyeball green monster) is actually a Marvel character. Specifically, an obscure one from Doctor Strange, who comes from chaos dimension and is considered the most powerful entity, to the point that Strange himself never "actually won". That said, he barely appears as his enemy, and is only here cause Capcom, the guys responsible for the game, love him. Maybe they just had fun animating a weird octopus-like character with an evil personality, so that's why he is here.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames he was actually a gag character.. the makers of the game gave the internet a poll on who they wanted in the game and the internet being the trolls that they are chose him. He's not a fighting character, he's just a regular lawyer but the makers decided to go through with it and somehow stuck him in a fighting game giving him a unique move set. For instance he needs to gather enough evidence before he can take you to trial like you saw him do.

Daredevil leading the Hand is based on the Shadowland story arc from 2010. In it, Matt Murdock returns to Hell Kitchen after being in Japan and becomes leader of the Hand. He turns Hell’s Kitchen into a Hand fortress/HQ. Turns out that Matt is possessed by a demon which makes him into ruthless and bloodthirsty as he straight up kills Bullseye. The possession was so strong that it made Daredevil nearly immortal and it took street level heroes the Spider Man, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and the Punisher, along with Wolverine and the Thunderbolts to stop him and break the possession.

What I love more on the Cacom side of Hyper Combos, is that they are of course taken from their respective games and just cranked up to 11. The ones to come to mind that are Wesker and Chris and the game they are derived from, Resident Evil 5. The guns that Chris has are the same ones available in the game and even his Combination Punch combo are taken from when you fight Wesker in Resident Evil 5. Wesker as well, given his Hyper Combo counter (called Rhino Charge), is also taken from Resident Evil 5, where if you don't dodge a specific cinematic, you end up with him driving his hand through your chest. Hell, even Wesker's move list has the moves he uses in Resident Evil 5 Mercenaries. Even the missile he tosses at the end of his Level Three Hyper Combo is from Resident Evil 5, the second to last time you fight him, where he chunks missiles at you if you don't attack him for a period of time. Capcom was always really creative in this particular series.

As far as i can tell , each character's super moves are divided into 3 categories. 1. massive projectile , 2. enhanced attacks , 3. a super move with a more cinematic approach with multiple camera angles.

Most (but not all) of the "cinematic" supers are Level 3 (and vice versa). You can spot this by looking at the super meter at the bottom. If it goes from 5 to 2, you're looking at a Level 3. Storm's cinematic super is an example of one of the few that is not. Level 1 supers are like normal and special attacks in that as you keep up a combo, each hit (after the third) scales down in damage. Level 3 supers don't scale, so if you combo into one, it just adds a set amount of damage to your combo. If a timer appears above the meter (it will be very thin and yellow), you're dealing with an enhancement/power-up super. Those are on a time limit, such as Hsien-Ko hyper armor. What was supposed to be demonstrated (but they missed) was that no matter how many times Phoenix hit Hsien-Ko, she couldn't knock her down or send her into hitstun. That means that no matter what, any attack Hsien-Ko performs WILL come out, even if delayed by the opponent attacking her. Most of these also prevent the character from building super meter while active. Morrigan and her Astral Vision super is the the most notable (and by far the most hated) exception.

Great reaction. Now, having see this and the supers in marvel vs capcom infinite, you can understand a little how made the players were (at least at the first moments of mvci's life), because umvc3 was a 6 year old game when mvci appear and a lot of supers were just copycat of umvc3 and, even worst, a lot of characters weren't even in the new game. Truly, a disaster in game choices Keep the good work and, if you like this kind of things, there are a lot of fighting games with good supers (for example, big band, a character of skullgirls, have a super that allow you to stop time to actually play a song in a trumpet)

I like this game but my problem with it is that, sometimes whole game just becomes a huge mess of visual effects, while you trying to do something to win the fight. And because of that you can't see a thing on the screen. The same with it's previous games in the series, like Marvel vs Capcom 1 and 2. They are in 2D but still are a huge mess, when you trying to do some combos and stuff.

I would definietelly sugest "RaId - escape from tarkov series", tis 5 episodes - gunshots are better represented then in holiwood movies. It is a story based on a heavy, extremelly hard and unforgiving FPS survival called escape from tarkov - really great game btw, but the raid series literally could be put on netflix and everyone would be amazed.

i know im years late to this reaction and i apologize but a few things on rocket raccoon back when his DLC was announced a lot of people were asking the devs who he was and more importantly why pick him over other marvel people and the devs had to say over and over they just wanted to include him also this was before his movie (obviously) but before he became a house home name in the comics and few appearances in tv shows he spoke with a Australian accent
