Get in the MK Speedrunning Discord!: discord.gg/RxuJWQT Worth noting that the Wolfmame INP wasn't introduced because any top runners were cheating, it mostly came down to new runners coming out of the woodwork and submitting faked runs. Users that haven't submitted a INP time since it was introduced have simply just not been running the game since! I really do want to extend a huge thanks to the MK Speedrunning community for being so helpful. I was involved for a few years but there were a lot of blank spaces that needed to be filled. Couldn't have done it without them! I'll be posting the Discord link as soon as I have it. Hope you enjoy this unique piece of MK history! - Ketchup

byspeed is a brazilian famous streamer (and unbeatable in snes/n64 mk's) who beat down lots of records before but people also called him cheater just because his records were much better than the actual ones, even if no one could prove it he cheated (guess why? because he didn't) I hope it's not about him you're talking about 'fake runs', because they was banned from speedrunnning just for solely being much better than his competition, i saw him playing live and anyone who thinks he's fake should just check his channel (if it's not about him you spoke about, you should check it anyway because he's so good)

@@KyomaGaming I wasn't talking about Byspeed. The comment you've just replied to clearly states byspeed and parallax weren't the players in question. Byspeed isn't banned by any means. @@zubayrhassan4288 with all due respect, that is not what the majority wants. It is merely what you want. Viewership on the MK Meta vs viewership on other videos does confirm that. I respect your opinion but I like to think that our audience trusts my judgement on what videos to make and how I go about making them. I have plenty of videos in the pipeline that cover both new and old. It does come across as rude when you're essentially telling me what videos to make. Apologies if this was a fairly blunt response.

I never really paid too much attention to the speed running community in the decades I've been gaming, as I'm more of a completionist type of player myself.. But when I found Summoning Sault around.. I don't know maybe two years ago? My god. It's so incredible, I watched those videos almost religiously. Those skills are WAY beyond my calibur of expertise and it's just fascinating. Not only that, and MAYBE I'm wrong, but from what I've seen, the community backing this scene is legit more positive than a lot of other gaming sectors..It's more about breaking those sub limits of potential than it is about toxic trash talk, if that makes sense.. like people have come together, even the top tier players, just to trade notes at times. Of course there are gonna be bad apples and feuds but.. It just seems that this passion comes from a more positive space, to me. I love it. So yeah, definitely have a new sub from me man. Good stuff. Always a fan of cataloguing history. ❤️🤟

A bit late to the party here but you can still totally do the coin door skip with machines on Free Play. It still registers the coin input as normal. It's about the coin signal being input, not necessarily the setting of the machine. The game will still register the coin input, even if it's on Free Play.
